though FMA movie would sell more guess not and i hope Denpa gets a second season!

Well I was thinking based on Brotherhood sales. The series is no where near as popular as it once was, so its kinda unrealistic to expect the sales it had during the mid 2000s again. It still sold more (and in some cases, twice as many copies) than an individual Brotherhood volume, which is good enough for me.

Sucks about AGE its actually one of my favorite overall Gundam series especially the second arc its been improving in my eyes. I guess Japan thinks differently. Please give me an R1 release anyways and I'll be happy.

Hopefully the next new Gundam Sunrise will make will make more profits.

I don't think AGE had a chance from the start since it turned off too many people with its art style. So many longtime fans wrote it off before it even aired.

I know its sad this is why I hate this fanbase they don't give it a chance if they would have watched it they would have seen that it wasn't THAT bad to begin with. I just hope they don't cancel it and rush to its finish. They need to try and stick it out till the end. xD

Maybe the latter episodes will sell better cause to me it vastly improved after the conflict in that one colony.

Oh were they? Interesting. Looks like that was 16 years ago for X, so it's been a while, but not forever. I assume it was slated for the usual 48-52 before it got dropped to 39.

As for 0079, it was the very first one so I think that's a bit of a different situation, it wasn't a massive franchise/household name back then. X is definitely relevant information though, thanks.

I do still think it's really unlikely for AGE to get cancelled. It's not immune (nothing is), but odds are still well below 50%, and that kind of thing messes with TV schedules (but then that's what reruns are for).

Man wouldn't it be a spectacle if it did though? The internet would piss itself (for various reasons). Personally I find it "watchable", though at this point I can't claim it's "good" with a straight face.

Noooo AGE D: Seriously, the show isn't that bad and I was totally against watching the show because of the art, I'm so glad it's definitely better than i thought. Much better than that horrible Gundam 00 movie and of course, DESTINY (both of which ought to get the "there is no Tsukihime anime" treatment..)

Yep. 3rd best selling show since 2000 (behind Bake and Madoka) and 4th best ever (Eva being top). In terms of initial release. But even if you include multiple re-releases over time, then as far as Gundam series go Destiny is right behind 1st Gundam (Destiny had a 10k boxset release so 78k vs 80k) and will be well ahead of it as soon as the remastered boxsets come out.
