Welcome to the team story arc lead by yours truly! I would like to start off by laying a few ground rules to make things easier for all of us and avoid a huge headache, when we should all be having fun!

SP:
Sp will be awarded by word count. I know it seems a little uncomfortable but I want everyone to be creative and as descriptive as possible. For this, I will be introducing "GP" or game points. Please remember to add as part of your post, in parenthesis, the total number of words at the bottom of your post.

Now the formula will be (total number of words in your post)/2, equals total amount of GP or game points. So for instance, you write up a post containing 100 words, divide that by 2, and you will get 50GP. So now what? Well let's dig a little deeper, 1SP=2GP, so continuing from the example, 50GP would equal 25SP. Of course I will take grammar into consideration which may or may not affect the final distribution of SP. I will also provide special action sequences and scenarios that will promote your characters to work with each other. Please note, quotes will not be counted into the word count of your post.

Character Interactions:
When my character (Amane) speaks to each of your's characters, I will color code each statement to make it easier to understand. For now the colors will be as follows:

Senken (Sozu): Navy
Namu (Shin): Red
Tetsu (Hoshi): Green
Kazuo (iparty): Brown

I don't expect for you guys to use this same model, but if it helps you out then feel free to do so. Since we are on the subject, let's talk about posting order. Since I'll be taking lead, I will usually post to set up the scenarios and such, but the posting order will be as follows: Senken, Namu, Tetsu, and Kazuo. However, I will change the order by episode. I may also on ocasion butt in between your posts just to mix things up a bit.

There are times when two characters are having a conversation and others are kind of "waiting around" while observing this. Anytime, two characters are away from the group and are having a private talk/exchange, please label at the top right of your post in bold "Character Link" so that we can reference them. When a character link is in place, the two characters don't need to wait for their turn to post. The exchange can continue for as long as it needs be. However, I will provide a (kind) reminder to quickly wrap it up in order to advance the story.

Fighting/Training:
As much as I find it redundant to do, yes your cp has to be noted whenever you are using jutsu. I will headline the post "Battle sequence" in order to get everyone ready. If there are multiple enemies, I will use the color codes for each of the enemies your character faces. Bonuses will be awarded if your character's form combos while fightning, afterall there is no "I" in team~

Training sequences will be given bonuses as well, again depending on whether your character's work together or not. If a training only features one person, I will be sure to use the character link label.

Missions:
In addition to the interactions, training, and fighting, I will also provide you all with missions, based on the village/land we are in. I'll try to provide as much options as possible so that you can select a mission that best suits you.

World Map:

I will be referring to this world map for our course:

We will start from Kusagakure heading clockwise to the north. Advancing to Amegakure, the Land of Birds, the Land of Bears, the Land of Honey, and the Land of Iron.

-I am always open to any suggestions/criticisms. Please note we won't be starting until about the middle to end of this week so hang on tight and we should be getting underway shortly~

Episode 1: In The Wild, Survival Is My Religion

Opening Theme:

Don't walk behind me; I may not lead. Don't walk in front of me; I may not follow. Just walk beside me and be my friend.
-Albert Camus-

(Continuation from the Downsize Arc/Amane Gaiden Arc)

Breath after breath, the panting grew louder as they raced out of the warzone. Soon enough, they were all gasping for air simultaneously as they navigated through the darkened woods leading out of Konohagakure. The advancement further progressed until they came to a halt, in an open plain, several meters west of Konohagakure. "We should be alright here for now," Amane suggested to both Namu and Tetsu. Namu more importantly as she seemed to be more physically worn out. The view of the plain was beautiful in contrast to the scene depicted back at Konohagakure.

Amane rested his hands on either side of his hips until he controlled his breathing. He then plopped down onto the grass next to Namu and Tetsu, whom had also taken a seat. He shook his head briefly, then exhaled deeply. "I never thought it was going to end up like this? Funny how life works sometimes," he said as he chuckled a bit. For in reality, Amane never planned on on taking another student nor traveling with another shinobi from his sister country. Oddly enough, he seemed happy, as it was seldom a time when he was around a group of people. This time was not because of strategic planning or the solving of political affairs. This time, Amane could truly be "himself" without the worry or judgement. However, he still had a reputation to withhold as a surviving and competent shinobi of Kirigakure. So in addition to his moments of laughter, also came his moments of observation.

He looked up to the sky, at a marvelous view of dawn approaching. It had been that long since he entered Konohagakure, and the warzone appeared to be reaching its peak in the darkest part of the night. He pointed up to the sky for both Namu and Tetsu, prompting them to take a gander at nature while he stated, "Its moments like these that I live for," in a tone of sincere enjoyment.

"Now then," Amane stated, as he sprang up to his feet. "He was suppose to meet us here or close by," he stated as he began to pace back and forth in front of the two Genin. Making the spectacle even stranger, he began whispering to himself. "I told him to be here on time, don't tell me something happened to him again!?

The alarm on Amane's face began to grow. The look of concern now looked like that of worry, until it eventually lead into a state of mild panic.

As Amane went to Konoha to do whatever, Senken had been left alone in their small and temporary camping site during the night. This wasn't so much of a trouble for Senken except for the fact that Amane didn't tell him anything about why he had left for Konoha, leaving abruptly and only telling Senken to wait at the field to the east that they had crossed the day before, at dawn. Senken didn't like this, but it wasn't like his opinion would matter to the subject in any way, so he kept quiet and awaited for the time when would be supposed to leave.

A long time had gone by after the incident in the old Kirigakure and, now, both Senken and Amane were somewhere in the Land of Fire, west of Konohagakure. During the time of their travels, Senken was told that every of the Tea Country's people colonizing the Land of Water in the area where the old Kirigakure resided had been killed by Amane using Kirigakure no Jutsu. That was a jutsu Senken had his eyes on for a long while and Amane was fully aware of that fact since, ever since Senken became his pupil, he had always wanted to learn the Kirigakure trademark jutsus such as Kirigakure no Jutsu and, more importantly, the Seven Swordsmen trademark jutsu, Silent Killing, since his most young wish was to become a part of that very illustrious group that has been an important part of Kirigakure for centuries.

It would appear, though, as if that would have to wait. Amane was on a childminded journey to learn new things and discover more about the world and that would appear as if there would be some time before he turned again to his sensei-like way. It's not as if things would be the same as they were months ago, though, since both him and Senken had changed a lot (especially Senken) in that amount of time and a training session now wouldn't be, surely, like it was before.

As time went by and Senken saw the first light of the day breaching the horizon, he packed up only his things and hid well Amane's remaining ones, such as the scroll with the swords he had taken from the Seven Swordsmen temple. It served no purpose in taking such items as he could be confronted with other shinobi and both him and Amane were trying to lay low, which wouldn't be possible before a confrontation. Luckily, the way to the field was unscathed and he reached it without any problems and in quick manner.

As annoying as it would be for Senken, once he got to the field, there was no sign of Amane in the vicinity of that area. Senken was sure that that was the location, though, and, so, he walked back and jumped on a tree, west of the field, looking for any signs of Amane from a favored point of view. The field was rather plain and anyone could be seen rather well from the position Senken was in.

After a while, though, Senken notices three figures stepping out of the woods to the east. One had the stature and body movement of Amane, that Senken had memorized so well from the years they had known one another, but the other two were small and one looked distinguishly fragile. He thought it was strange for Senken to be accompanied by people, let alone younger people, hell, if they had the same height as Amane he could as well have been captured but, if he was just with two kids, there probably wouldn't be an issue with approaching them.

So, leaving no other option, Senken quickly moved to their location and, when he heard Amane's voice and he saw the wrinkles of concern on his teacher's face, he sighed because of his overreaction. "I've been here for a long time, you know?" Senken's face looked not amused at Amane's lack of attention. "Also, I've been wondering for a while now... did you go to Konoha just to bring two boyscouts back?"

As Namu's breathing starts to normalize she notices Amane's worry and even more so his conversation he was having underneath his breath. What surprised Namu even more than those things was the fact that a person made himself known. Quickly grabbing a kunai from her back pouch she jerked up and whirled around in the direction the voice had traveled from.

Seeing the guy standing there she didn't know what to think though she was glad her fear wasn't realized. The guy seemed to be familiar with Amane but she didn't lower her guard yet not knowing what the party would be dealing with. In fact that was something she realized all those hours ago that there were many people in this vast world of shinobi that could level a city if they wanted to. So with kunai in hand she slowly lowered her body posture trying to leave as few openings as possible for this new figure to exploit if he tried to attack although realizing what he had said made her flustered and so she blushed out of embarrassment.

"Wh...who are you calling boy scouts!? I happen to be a girl!" she said as she ripped the mask off her face allowing the teen to see her for who she truly was.

As Tetsu was following Amane and Namu out of the forest, jumping from tree to tree, he couldn't help but observe Namu. He was quite worried about her seeing has she puked out blood earlier. She seemed fine, except a little exhausted. He was prepared to catch her, if she would ever faint in which he had hoped would never happen. As time passed by, Tetsu was thinking about how his mother was doing. It's been about a year and a half he hasn't seen her and he missed her quite a bit. He wished things would've turned out differently, such as her accepting him to follow the path of a ninja. Although, he couldn't blame her for being against it so much considering she has lost every single person that was dear to her, including his father. Tetsu had shook his head, as he just wanted the thoughts out of his head. He decided to keep his focus on Namu.

As time had passed by, there was a light at the end of the forest. Tetsu thought that maybe they could take a little break and discuss more on what the plan is since they seemed far enough from Konohagakure. As they had each jumped there last tree, they all landed on a grass field in which the moon light was shining upon them. It was peaceful seeing a grassy plain with nothing to see but the star and trees, which made the boarders of the plain. There was nothing better then to breath in fresh air. Tetsu took a quick glance at Namu just to see her condition, just before taking a seat on the grass. It was odd, at this point he felt like her body guard or something.

Not wanting to feel awkward about always checking up on Namu, every five minutes, Tetsu turned his direction to Amane. As he was about to ask Amane where they were heading, he heard him say how he lived for moments like these. "That is true..." Tetsu couldn't agree more. Being a shinobi meant that you had to fight all the time in order to live and survive but just being able to have time to recollect and not having to keep your guard up was something they would all probably agree on. Not long after that did the light of morning's dawn showed up. It was so beautiful that Tetsu had actually forgot what he was about to ask. He had eventually layed on his back, as he closed his eyes.

Hearing Amane's voice had Tetsu jumped back into reality. If no one had said anything, he would've easily had fallen asleep as he was so relaxed. As Amane had continued to speak and wonder where this person was, Tetsu was kinda puzzled as he didn't know that they were supposed to meet anyone, specially in the middle of nowhere. He had then looked around to see if he could spot some sort of figure in the distance. As seconds passed, he had finally spot someone who seemed to be heading their way. "Is it him, Amane?"

Seeing the figure approche them, Tetsu was getting a better look at the person. As he had arrived, Tetsu couldn't believe who he saw. "Senken?...Senken is that you?" Tetsu had completely ignore Senken's boyscout remark. He wasn't effected by insults as much people were. He was too busy checking out how Senken had changed. It's been about a month since the last time he saw him and for such a small time, Senken had a different vibe to him. One thing that got Tetsu's attention was Senken's eye. Last time he saw him, he had both eyes. He thought that Senken has probably been through a lot in the past month. "What happened to your eye?".

One last explosion erupted in the direction of Konohagakure, as Amane continued to pace frantically back and forth. The light from the explosion, as the fire climbed into the air, illuminated Senken's body as he approached them. Just like that, his suspicions quickly faded when Senken confirmed that he had been there the whole time. Amane was too caught up in leaving the area and ensuring the safety of Namu and Tetsu to realize Senken had been there the whole time. His facial expression changed completely. He was certainly more relaxed, yet he showed a face of disappointment when he heard the words,

"Also, I've been wondering for a while now... did you go to Konoha just to bring two boyscouts back?"

It was strange really how his relationship with Senken worked at times. A person looking from the outside would most certainly have a hard time trying to figure out who was the teacher and who was the pupil. Clearly, this time Senken seemed to have the more adult persona about him. Amane in return, apologetically rubbed the back of his head as he took a quick glance at Namu and Tetsu.

"Namu-chan, it's OK, he is one of my pupil's, he means no harm."

He waved his right arm down towards Namu, signaling her to withdraw the kunai. Senken did not pose as a threat to the group, and Amane ensured her with a smile. However, the smile faded away when he began to address Senken.

"Well, you see, how do I put this? Konoha is under attack. I tried to sneak in to speak with the Hokage, but Misuto (Mizukage) showed up which resulted in a change of plans. Namu doesn't have anyone but herself, she asked for my help, so I've decided to watch over her for a while. Tetsu here, was on vacation and I advised him to leave the area immediately. He's with us for now. Do I have your approval?"

He knew what this meant, Senken more than likely was not going to be happy with the decision, but Amane hoped he would bear with it for the time being. Amane wasn't one to leave anyone behind. Perhaps he saw a little bit of himself in Namu when he decided to help her. Ironically he found his emotions conflicting within him once more, a crucial mistake shinobi's are advised not to do, time and time again.

With each presenting their case, Senken did not move from his position, his crossed arms and stern look on his face, even though the explosion in Konoha's direction shone brightly on his body. He did not care for what the two children had to say as their opinion wouldn't matter in the slightest. Whether they had gone through a lot in their still young lives or were just looking for attention from someone respectable, their opinions would always be biased and inexperienced on any kind of subject. So, as soon as the young girl showed her discontempt at Senken's harsh words, he answered her unamused posture with even harsher words, not even dignifying himself to look at her, as if he didn't even consider her worthy enough to be with the group. This opinion of her was strongly aggravated due to the fact that she was from Konoha and not from Kiri or Kumo as the rest of them.

"You say you're of the female gender but I don't see anything of the sort at Amane's side. If you say you're a girl then learn how to grow up a pair of breasts and waist so that I can distinguish you from the other boy here... Pettanko."

Ignoring any and whatever reactions Namu could have towards his irritating words, Senken looked intriguingly over to a Tetsu that had mentioned his name. He had been caught by surprise by the young boy with the Kumo headband calling his name since he didn't remember the young figure at all and the kid called him as if they had met eachother a long while back.

Since he didn't pick up on who the kid was, not even from his voice, Senken recalled his sensei's, attempting, reassuring words. The little one's name was Tetsu and, although he still didn't remember who that was, it did ring a bell in Senken's head. "Where have I heard that name before..." The fact that he had mentioned Senken's lacking eyeball, however, didn't go how Tetsu must've planned. Even though it had just been a frightening mean to a terrific end, it still represented a significant loss to him and hearing the boy casually asking about it represented exactly the lack of touch children had for delicate subjects, Senken thought.

All this made him frown at Tetsu right before he looked back at Amane which, in turn, still owed him some explanations as to why he wanted to speak with the Hokage, why Misuto was in Konoha instead of Kumo settling Kiri's affairs and why he had brought Tetsu with him even though he was on a, mildly suspicious, vacation in the Land of Fire.

"Don't think I like what you've done without warning me in the slightest, Amane. I hope you understand the repercussions of having more people travelling with us, especially with them being kids. Not only will it be harder to move about without being noticed but, if any of them is captured by someone standing on our way, you're the one who's going to have to save them. I could care less if you're getting old and needy of more pupils to look up to you." Senken was deeply annoyed by the fact that Amane had brought those two and, by what he had told Amane, he just wanted to say that he was ridding himself of any responsibility towards the two. If Amane wanted for the kids to go with them then he would have to take care of them, even more than he took care of Senken. "We'll talk later about what happened in Konoha, Amane."

Outraged by the fact of the teen’s ill manners she hastily put the mask back on to keep her tongue from getting carried away. Instead she inhaled and exhaled several times before letting let her grip ease up on the kunai enough for her to drop it back into her pouch. Zipping it back up she turned around and looked at Amane.

"Do you perhaps have a spare sword on you that you would be willing to part with? I used to have some at home but since they were all destroyed when my house caved in I have none to call my own." she said as she flexed her hands gently as she looked down at them. The emptiness was growing more and more with each passing minute.

"I feel very awkward without one in my hands or on my back. Also I would like to have an audience later to discuss what happened at the edge of the village. I mean…” she glances to the side and then back at Amane. ”whenever you aren't entertaining that ugly pig over there." she said as she gestured over at the youth. "Honestly... in the village you showed me kindness but to see this….this… oh I don’t know how to describe him.. but I know you're different than him so why do you keep this swine company...?!” she said as she looked over at the teenager and smiled. Even though it was hidden with the mask he could pretty much tell by the way her eyes were shinning in the morning light that she was.

With the explosion happening at a distance behind Tetsu, it gave Senken a glow on his face. It was kinda like how an evil cartoon character would have a lightning effect in the background as they laugh as a mad man. The difference, in Senken's case, was that he didn't have a lightning effect he had a flaming inferno effect kinda like he was the devil with horns coming out of his head. Although, Senken didn't actually look scary. He looked more depressive if anything. All jokes aside, he was actually curious as to what was happening back in Konoha. He had wondered that if they can see the light from this far, if they would've been caught in the blast if they didn't leave. At this point it didn't matter. He had to focus on the here and now as well as what's to come.

As Senken gave a face of displease to Tetsu's question, Tetsu felt somewhat bad as he felt like he crossed the line somewhere. And just to make Tetsu feel even more awkward, Namu had burst out in anger towards Senken's "hello". During moments like these, Tetsu just isolated himself from the group so he doesn't have to deal with the drama himself. He did so by reaching into his shirt and took out a book which the cover had said "Cloud style kenjutsu". Tetsu had liked to read during his free time specially books that would give him knowledge in combat and strategies because of this, he was somewhat of a book worm. Although, with Tetsu, if he wasn't reading, he would be sparring or looking up at the sky.

Flipping through a page of his book, Tetsu heard Senken's reply, to Namu's outburst, about her breast. As far as he was concern, you don't mention to a female about their sensitive parts such as their breast. It didn't work like that. Either they get even more worked up, start getting moody or they start to cry. Clearly Senken didn't care about it, although he didn't seem much of a sensitive person to begin with or at least he wasn't kind with others seeing as how the welcoming became. Still minding his business, Tetsu flipped through another page.

After Senken countered Namu, he changed his direction towards Amane as they had started a conversation. Each with their own share of words to each other, it sounded like Senken was the leader between the two of them which actually confused Tetsu. He has heard more stories about Kirigakure's jinchuriki then any other single shinobi. Because of that, he would think that Amane had more authority or maybe Amane was just that kind. In a sense, Tetsu saw a bit of his father in him, it was quite odd. As the two man finished explaining each of their thoughts, Tetsu had closed his book, after reading three pages, and put it away, back in his shirt. He finally had the chance to put his input about what was in his mind, which he has been holding in since before they left Konoha.

"May I please know what's going to happen at this point on? You say we need to leave Konoha's area because of the war. What was the war about? You then take a Konoha kunoichi to be as your pupil. Then we meet up with Senken all the way out here. Why wasn't he in Konoha with you? And did you forget about her condition?! Spilling out blood out of nowhere isn't something that is considered normal. She should really see a doctor...

After clearly out his mind, Tetsu took a deep breath. It felt good letting everything all out specially considering how long he was holding it in which had only built up with more questions building up. He also wanted to ask Amane about the reason his headband was scratched. He knew that only missing-nin scratch their headbands to show that they cut ties with their village. Although curious, he didn't want to cross the line like he did with Senken. As his questions went towards about kunoichi, he realized that they weren't properly introduced but he had ignored it since he heard Amane mentioning her name earlier.

He closed his eyes in order to ignore the banter between Namu and Senken, but the exchange did not have any signs of letting up. On top of that, Tetsu now began to question Amane's motives. His right brow began to twitch slightly. He groaned a little until he couldn't take it anymore, yelling out, "Knock it off you two!" to both Namu and Senken, whom had escalated their heated exchange. His patience began to run thinner by the second. He addressed each one, at a time, pointing his right index finger at them while he did so.

"Namu-chan, you aren't in a condition to be wielding a blade yet, not until I've gauged your ability for myself."

"Senken, as I've stated before, you always have the option to walk away from all of this. Either accept things as they are or find something else that will satisfy your attitude."

"Tetsu, we are heading west, effective immediately, to the land of..errr...ummm....grass! Yes grass!"

Without giving the others a chance to reply, Amane darted forward onto the field and further out west. Eventually the rest of the group followed. Morning rose upon them with the chirping of the birds. The war in Konoha seemed to have died down as they drifted further away from the village. The group continued to move forward to the west, until they mistakingly entered the land of rivers. This land was known to be a neutral country that refused to take any particular stance in war. However, as a neighboring country to both Konoha and Suna, the countries got along relatively well. Much like the land of fire, the land of rivers spanned across grassy plains. There were some mild forested areas that housed a small network of rivers.

Amane continuously ensured the group that they were going in the right direction, even if his demeanor did look peculiar at times. He refused to answer any questions nor hear any complaints. It was the afternoon by the time the group entered a mild forested area connected to the main road. On the eastern side of the road lay a riverside. Along the riverside the group encountered a shop with a sign that read "Curry of Life". This particular phrase was foreign to Amane, as he had been used to preferring ramen for most of his life for food. His curiousity however got the best of him because of the allure of the smell that came out of the kitchen of the shop. An exquisite combination of herbs and spices filled the air, as the group moved in closer to the shop.

Everyone was tired, emotions were flaring, eyes were grogy, and they were all almost at each other's necks. However, the smell of food was something they could all agree on was a blessing in disguise. So, they decided to press forward towards the shop.

The group was greeted by a small middle aged woman that was dressed in normal clothing that did not look like she had any affiliation to a shinobi village. She waved at the group and softly said "good afternoon," to a party of flustered folk. "You all look so tired," she continued to say. Amane inquire about the place, and the woman introduced herself as heir of the Curry of Life shop.

This business has been handed down from generation to generation since it was first founded by Sansho, the woman's great great great grandmother. Because of warfare, the business has hit a bit of a slump lately and she did admit that she was shorthanded on her deliveries. Later she introduced herself as "Seiya" whom had been working in the shop along with her younger son "Seito". She had a series of shipments that needed to be deliverered across the country, culmunating in a large shipment to be sent out to Kusagakure by the end of the week, that made her seemed stressed out.

"Ku-Kusagakure!" Amane yelled out with a face of total embarrassment. "Well yes," the woman responded. "This is the Land of Rivers, but I assure you, the Land of Grass isn't dreadfully far from here."

Amane was at a total lost for words. His face bent down as he stared at the ground. He did not want to face to the group whom by now were on the verge of killing him. He finally lifted his head up and faced the group, while smiling slightly at them, "Eh....sorry?"

Namu, Tetsu, and Senken, all of their eyes looked like that of the devil. The terrifying sight caused Amane to startle a little. The woman burst out in laughter at the exchange of the group. "Oh my! You all must be hungry as well. Tell you what, since we don't get much company around here let's work out a deal. You all are shinobi right?" She asked as the group nodded in unison. "Well why don't you help us out a little? You could take care of some deliveries to and from Tanigakure, the neighboring shinobi village and in exchange,"

Amane's eyes lit up when he heard of the dilemma, seizing the opportunity to offer her a proposition. "In exchange for helping you with the deliveries, may we rest here until the end of the week? We have our own tents, we shouldn't cause you any trouble,"

"It's no trouble at all," she smiled as Amane managaed to beat her to the punch. "I have an extra bed where the young lady can rest in. I'm sure she could use the time away from you boys," she stated whilst smiling.

With that, the group set up camp behind the lady's shop. As soon as they were ready and had something to eat, they rested for the night. By morning, they would begin their series of deliveries. When morning came, Amane woke the boys up from the tent, informing them that they have been selected to start the deliveries for the day. Meanwhile, Amane would stay back to train Namu.

"Senken, Tetsu, you both are in charge of delivery two gallons of curry to Tanigakure. Follow the main road south for three miles and you should be there in no time. Namu, me and you have some work of our own to do. Senken, you are in charge, take what you need from Seiya and get a move on."

"Tetsu, we are heading west, effective immediately, to the land of..errr...ummm....grass! Yes grass!"

Tetsu couldn't believe it, Amane himself wasn't even sure where they were heading. He seriously started to doubt the skills of the swiftest shinobi of Kirigakure. Even though Tetsu didn't know what he put himself into, he wasn't about to start a confrontation with a man whose battle experience is greater then his own. He decided to take the same book out, from his shirt, that he was reading earlier, and stuck his nose in it. He was just gonna follow the group and see where they would head.

Hours have passed and without having anything to eat, since hours before even meeting up with Amane, Tetsu's stomach was growling. He was also getting thirsty. Being too distracted, he had put away his half finished book in his shirt. He also started to sweat. If the eclipse wasn't over the sun, he would've definitely faint by the heat. It was already incredible how the temperature was. Tetsu was practically dragging his feet on the ground. At this point, he was also hearing any slight noise that seem to distracted him from the grass being brushed by their feet to his squad's breathing. At one point, the young shinobi had stop on his tracks and let himself fall the the ground, on his back. "When will get there!?" Being exhausted, his question wasn't directed towards anyone specific. He just wanted to finish the walking as that's all he has been doing for the past four days.

Three quarters of the day passed by, as they had finally arrived at some sort of shop. "Curry of life?... I need some life in me..." thought Tetsu seeing as he felt like his life was running short. Not losing anymore of their time, the group had entered the shop. Upon entering, Tetsu had looked around. The smell was wonderful, he felt like he was in heaven. Although, being hungry, any smell of spices smelt good too him. Across the room, he had also spotted a large table with chairs surrounding it. With a big smile across his face, he dashed towards the chair and just let himself fall on it. Hungry, exhausted and in pain, Tetsu could've just rip off his own legs and have that for supper but since they were here, that wasn't the case.

Hearing Amane yell out Kusagakure and the old lady's remark, all you heard was a big slam in the background, as Tetsu had let his face drop on the table. He thought he was going to do if he stood with Amane. Paying attention to the rest of Amane's conversation, with the shop owner, Tetsu was relieved that she would help them out with food and a place to stay for the night.

That night, Tetsu was content. His belly was full, his legs have rested and all he needed was a good night sleep. After supper, he had helped the old lady do the dishes as she explained the story of how the shop was founded. It was incredible, he was in the same shop that the legendary Naruto Uzumaki had a mission for. Every time he hears a famous ninja name, he always got pumped up to get stronger. Having a big smile on his face, Tetsu went in the back to make his tent, as Amane and Senken were almost done, after he was done with the dishes. Seeing Senken made him lose his smile quite fast. He couldn't tell what it was but he always felt like he did something wrong every time Senken glanced at him. Tetsu had looked at Amane who had only shrugged about it.

As the tent was finally finished, Tetsu brushed his hands together. He was minutes away to get a good nights rest. Before going inside the tent, he was curious as to how Amane and Senken made theirs. Looking at their tents then back at his, he was discontent on how he built it. Although he couldn't complain, it was already kind enough for Seiya to lend them her sheets and blankets. Without wasting a second, he had limped in his tent, went under the covers and fail into a deep sleep in a matter of seconds.

As Namu lay in the tent she tossed and turned in her sleep. Shortly afterwards she gasps as she jerks upward. Breaking out in a cold sweat she tries to calm her breathing by performing the breathing exercises that her parents had taught her in their families dojo. With her breathing in check she slowly got up and stretched trying to push the bad dream she had into the furthest reaches of her mind. Instead of the dream she thought about other things.

Getting dressed in her white robes with the exception of her mask then she left the tent and began to look around. The sun was just rising in the East when she heard rustling off next to the curry shop. She looked over and saw Seiya who waved when she noticed her. Namu waved back thinking about how kind she was for allowing them to stay but it still didn't change the fact that she was still uneasy around her. Ever since Namu was little she had been somewhat scared around little old people because of how wrinkly they were.

Yet as Namu got older she was starting to realize that they weren't that scary and that growing old was just apart of life. Turning around she began to enjoy the nature around her until she saw Amane. Seeing him made her temper flare a little bit knowing that they had lead them off course and the fact that she had been yelled at the day before because of something Senken had started. Realizing the rage wasn't worth the pointless argument that would follow she soothed herself by whipping out a kunai and started spinning it in her hand.

Realizing that memories were starting to come back and knowing that the pain would soon follow she decided to walk up and start a conversation.

"Good morning, Amane-sama. I trust you slept well?" she said with a warm smile as the sun radiated off her face.

"Senken, as I've stated before, you always have the option to walk away from all of this. Either accept things as they are or find something else that will satisfy your attitude."

Finding anymore discussion to be futile, Senken decided to leave things be as he sighed from Amane's ridiculous statement. When would Amane learn to take Senken's words seriously? He never said anything about being against it to the point that he would leave the group. Warning Amane of the dangers that came with a larger group and clearing the fact that he wouldn't have anything to do with Amane's new followers was simply what Senken invisioned for his speech and, unfortunately, it seemed like Amane didn't get the picture despite how long it was. This fact left Senken to sigh deeply before becoming quiet the whole way as they started to pick their journey back up. He only retorted when he was asked or told anything, but even then he wouldn't get along. Not because he wasn't capable of it but because he didn't want to become attached to any more people than he already was. The pain of losing those he felt dear of had been one he was too familiar with and he strived to escape from it.

Meanwhile, after walking for several days in search of Kusagakure, both the fatigue and the hunger were becoming determining factors to the young ones. Although both Amane and Senken were fine with the lack of mantiment, Senken due to the fact that he was used to not eating much on long journeys (such as when he walked with Tenshi for many days after Mei destroyed Kirigakure) and when he ate he ate lightly, it was becoming apparent that the amount of rest stops was raising, some times due to the boyish girl and others the shy boy. This only meant that Senken was true in what he had said when they first met, that the kids would slowly become a hindrance in any of Amane's plans. There was no need to convey his ideas, though, as Amane would more than likely take it the wrong way, Namu would become offended and Tetsu would shy out of the discussion. No good would come from him speaking and, therefore, he kept his mouth shut.

When they reached the "Curry of Life" shop, he couldn't help but wonder what kind of food it was and why was the store placed in such a random spot, in the middle of nowhere. When the owner mentioned where they were, though, Senken quielty pulled off a map and realized that it was indeed smartly located, near the lands of Earth, Fire and Grass, which provided a large palette of clients from the four countries.

Later, when Amane decided to make groups for the tasks to come in the next day, Senken was both relieved and annoyed. The fact that he had decided to train the little girl and make him the errand boy when the deal had been made solely between him and the owner was what annoyed him, although he didn't say it as nothing good ever came from complaints. He was relieved that he had been partnered with the kid, though, since that would mean peace and quiet that he wouldn't have with the girl around, since the boy was too shy to indulge in a conversation ever since he got scared from Senken's look when he enquired him about his eye loss.

Now, sitting right outside the door of the curry shop on a low bench right as the sun came up to tenderly warm his body, Senken was left with nothing else to do but to quietly await for Tetsu to get ready for their trip, which would prove to be a quiet and uneventful one.

Amane waking up Tetsu, morning had finally came. He wasn't in the mood to do anything since he was relaxed but he couldn't lazy around. Today was the day that they repay Saiya for helping them out. Getting out of the tent, as he gave out a big yawn, Tetsu rubbed his eyes then packed the tent before entering the shop. As the group was eating breakfast, Amane had gave them instructions on what to do. Today, Senken and Tetsu would work together to deliver the curry to Tanigakure. Tetsu wasn't bothered at all that he was with Senken, he would have to eventually get used to his company. Finishing breakfast, Saiya had gave both, Tetsu and Senken, a container of curry as well as a map. "I'm sure you two boys can carry these big containers" said Saiya with a gentle smile. She had also gave them the adresse where to deliver the curry. As they were about to leave, she showed the two boys a trail on the map "Not far from here, there is a trail that leads to two paths. Take the left one. If you continue straight, it will take you two hours longer to get there". Thanking Saiya once more, Tetsu went on his was to Tanigakure as he strapped the container on his back.

On their way to their destination, the first few minutes was quiet. He didn't know how to start a conversation with Senken. He didn't seem the type to want to have a conversation as he was just staying in his bubble. The quietness was starting to drive Tetsu crazy. Someone had to say something and it wasn't going to be Senken. "So... How do you find Kumogakure? I know it's a big change from Kirigakure considering that your used to being surrounded by water and not mountains. I also believe that Kiri specializes in fish food, correct?" Waiting for an answer, Senken didn't respond. This kinda aggravated Tetsu. How could he just ignore him like that? He really thought Senken was rude. "Alright, you don't want to speak... I get it." To be able to feel comfortable with the silence, Tetsu had grabbed his book, in his shirt and decided to read.

Reading his book, for about two hours, Senken and Tetsu had arrived at the two trails that Saiya had mention. Problem was, Senken had payed attention while Tetsu was too busy in his book, not realizing, and continued forward. An hour had passed until he had finally finished the book and put it away in his shirt. As he had put it away, Tetsu noticed that Senken wasn't beside him. He had then looked behind him and noticed that he was nowhere to be found. He had then took out the map, that Saiya had gave him, and realized that he had walked the path that Saiya told him not to take. Not only feeling stupid for himself but he was also angry that Senken didn't even let him know that they had reached the crossroad. Taking a deep breath, he tried to stay calm. There was nothing he could do about the situation so he just decided to continue on with his path.

Along his path, he arrived in a forest. From the map, it was the boarder to arrive in Tanigakure. From here, it would take about four to five hours to get there, which would be two hours left if he took the right path. It was horrible, Tetsu couldn't read to make time pass by faster. He was also starting to get hungry but that was the least of his worries. Waking down the forest, a group of low life bandits had surrounded Tetsu. "Gives us your money and the container on your back." It was very typical for bandits to be at a boarder and Tetsu wasn't in the mood to deal with these hooligans. Not moving, Tetsu had observe each bandit with different type of arsenal from daggers to kunais, from staves to crossbows. "I'm sorry, but I have to deliver this container. I don't have time to deal with monkeys." "Monkeys?!" The leader wasn't pleased at all, he didn't take insults too well. The other bandits were only laughing and started to say things such as "Now he is gonna get it" and "Its his funeral". "I'll show you monkey!" The leader started to run towards Tetsu, raising his blade above his head. Then, before you know it, he slashed down at Tetsu with the blade only for it to have snapped in half. "What the?!"said the leader in shock. Tetsu had covered his whole body with with a black metal coating. Each of the eyes of the bandit widen, they were amazed at Tetsu abilities. "Don't just stand there! Shoot!! yelled out the leader, ordering the bandits to strike. All the bandits with bows and crossbows started to shoot Tetsu without hitting the container. All their arrows were pointless as they all bounced off of Tetsu. "Are you done yet?" remarked Tetsu out of boredom. The leader had nodded and had let Tetsu pass and continue his journey.

At the end of the forest, Tetsu had arrived at a mountain path. From here he was about two hours away from Tanigakure, which he couldn't wait for. About one hour on the path, the same bandits that were in the forest were on a higher ledge of the mountain. It had appeared that the bandit leader had ordered his men to place giant boulders at the edge and was prepared to cause a rock slide to take out Tetsu, who was clueless about the situation. As Tetsu continued his path, the bandit leader waved his arm to order the rock slide to start. Hearing a loud noise, Tetsu had looked up. He wasn't really surprised in seeing a rock slide so he actually had time to react to it. He had reached into his weapon pouch and grabbed three kunai, which was attached with exploding tags. Throwing them at the boulders, only two of them were successful hits as the third one hit right at the ledge where the bandit leader was. "Crap..." Knowing what was about to happen, the bandit leader didn't move, not that he could move fast enough. Seeing as Tetsu missed the third Kunai, the explosion wasn't large enough to destroy the boulders as he would've wanted thus he had dashed out of the way. Looking back he saw the rock slide go down as well as they bandits that he saw earlier. "What the... How did he get here faster them me?!" Tetsu was more surprised that the bandits got to the mountain before he did even though he left the forest first. Puzzled, he didn't want to be any more late then what he already was.

There was something remarkable about the morning, according to Amane. It was his favorite part of the day, and he usually was the first to be up in order to witness the sun rise. It was a soothing sensation, to feel yourself slowly become basked in warm light. He held a relaxed expression on his face as he watched the sun far off in the distance. In his right hand, he bounced an apple continuously, while his left hand rested atop the hilt of a wooden dummy katana. He began to ponder about his decision making, as Senken and Tetsu had already left on their assigned delivery. All that was left was Namu whom slept a little longer than the other two.

For a short amount of time, Amane was lost in thought, thinking about Senken's opinion about leading a large group and whether or not he made a wise decision in taking two genin under his wing. He shrugged off the idea, and was interrupted by the soft voice of Namu as she asked him if he slept well. He caught the apple in his right hand as it landed on his palm one last time, then turned around to face her. This time there was no smile on his face, nor reassuring sign that all is well. This was a serious moment in time, and Amane made sure Namu would realize that by his choice of words.

"Any chance to rest is worth it Namu-chan. I'm just glad everyone else was able to get some shut eye too, but more importantly I see you are looking better," he said while focusing on the kunai spinning on her finger.

"But a meal doesn't come for free, which means me and you will do a little training before we lend a hand to Seiya," he continued while walking up to her. He extended the wooden dummy katana towards her when he was close enough.

"This will be your sword until you prove to me that you can wield a real one," he stated while giving her the katana. The look on her face was exactly what he expected. She felt disrespected, of course, but Amane did not feel comfortable giving her a sharpened blade just yet and run the risk of her getting seriously wounded in the event of a fight.

"We will start with a simply exercise," he stated when she became comfortable with the katana. "I'm going to toss this apple up, when you feel it reaches the perfect height, strike it with everything you've got. The result should deliver some considerable damage. Remember, don't tense up, relax your shoulders, and use your hips," he stated as he began to walk backward three steps.

"On my mark, three-two-one!" He released the apple in an under hand toss, his right arm swang upward releasing the apple into the air until it was well above both him and Namu. In a matter of seconds the apple would come sailing down.

(Indicate at what height of your body, like at shoulder height, chest height, or knee height she hit the apple, as well as direction of swing, like left to right, downward, upward, etc. pm me if you have any questions~)

As Amane turned around his peaceful look that he had moments before was gone. His body language turned rigid and his voice was very forceful. The whole change took a matter of moments and it was like he had put on a mask to hide how he was truly feeling. What made things worse was the words he had spoken to her. She knew that he might not trust her it did however make her feel a bit naive for thinking he would just hand her a blade.

As he went on to explain the exercise after he had handed her the wooden blade she slowly began to twirl it in her hands. While doing so she was checking the weight as to make sure the blade wouldn't hinder her performance. Once Amane finished his explanation and had backed up to a good distance he launched the apple into the air. As soon as the apple left his hands her eyes locked onto it and followed its every move.

Knowing she needed to prove herself to Amane that she could be trusted not only with a blade but as a student she began to feel the pressure. As gravity began to take hold of the apple it slowly started to fall. Watching and waiting she took up a stance allowing her feet to stay shoulder length apart with the wooden blade outstretched in loose arms. Then seeing in her minds eye the swing of the blade her body went into motion.

Stepping forward with her right foot she raised the blade up and then brought the blade down as swiftly as she could. With her eyes still on the apple she continued the swing making contact with the apple at shoulder height and just above the halfway mark on the blade. Yet the swing didn't stop. Even after the blade met the apple Namu felt the need to follow through making sure her full strength was directed towards the apple. The apple slide along the blade until it reached the tip and then shot forwards landing directly at Amane's feet where it bounced a few times before finally stopping off to his left.

The apple came to a rolling stop at Amane's right foot as he stared down it, examining the structure since it collided with the wooden blade. He then bent down to pick it up, glanced at it quickly and showed it to Namu as he held it between his right index finger and thumb.

"Look carefully, there has been some noticeable damage, but because of how it was stricken, it still remains intact. The main principle behind your sword strike is to keep in mind the direction of your swing. Here, it was pointless to strike the apple vertically because the apple is already falling down. Instead, you need to counter by striking horizontally. Always look to counter the direction of the opposing force."

Each instruction was like a command, that he plan to drill to her over and over again. He pocketed the apple in his pants then began walking towards Namu. He softly rested his hands atop her shoulders, patted them slightly and let go before he gave her further instruction. He backed up slightly picking up a tree branch that had fallen to the ground in order to demonstrate the exercise.

"From now until about mid day, I want you to practice your swings. First step up, and swing from your knees to above your head, then remain still and swing from your head to the center of your chest, step back, change direction and swing from your chest to your right side, then to the left. Step up and repeat the same process. I want you to make note of your peripheral vision. remain vigilant at all times."

He awaited until she readied herself, crossed his arms over his chest, then began to watch over her every move.

An hour had passed by and Tetsu decided to take a picture out, from his back pocket. On the picture had Tetsu when he was a child and his father rubbing his hand on Tetsu's head, with a big smile on their faces. He would have moments where he would just talk to his father and explain how he is doing and what he was doing. It was his way to feel safe, knowing that his father was still with him.

"Guess what dad? I'm actually under the guidance of one of the greatest shinobi of Kirigakure, who is also a seven swordsman of the mist! He is a very kind man who is also very protective. He kind of reminds me of you. He also took in a kunoichi from Konoha! It's funny really. He has a me, a genin from Kumo, Namu the Konoha genin and Senken who is from Kiri. Senken is kinda depressing. He isn't social and didn't really approve of Amane taking me and Namu with them. We are kinda just traveling around. I'm not sure what their plans are but I trust Amane. At this moment, I'm on a mission to deliver curry to Tanigakure. Curry from the "Curry of life" shop. The same place where the great Naruto Uzumaki had a mission at! It's quite thrilling to be on the same grounds as a legendary shinobi. We'll, I'm almost there, I'm gonna have to let you go. Talk to you later."

Putting his picture away, Tetsu had arrived at the gates of Tanigakure. It was actually bigger then what he would've expected but it was nice. A village being inside a canyon as birds fly high above the sky was something he could've gotten used to himself. Walking inside the gates, the village was packed. People were running everywhere as cargo is being brought from one location to the next. It was such a rush that when Tetsu entered, someone almost ran over him wanting to get out of the village. He never knew that a village could be this busy, it was ridiculous. Holding the container on his back didn't help his case neither since everyone was bumping into him. It was aggravating, people barely had respect. He was glad he wasn't part of this village.

Looking at the adresse that Seiya gave him, he tried to find the place where he was supposed to deliver the curry. Not having much luck, he tried to ask the people around him but no one would sit still for even a second. At that moment, Tetsu's stomach had growled. He hadn't ate since he left for the delivery. He had then entered the nearest restaurant that he could find. Upon enterering, he saw that it wasn't as pact as how it was outside. Taking a seat, as he took off the straps of the container and placed it beside him, a waitress, who seemed to be in her early twenties, had came up to him. "May I help you?" Asked the waitress as she took a pencil and a piece of paper. "Yeah, I'd like the a..." As Tetsu looked through the menu, realized that he didn't have much money so he was forced to have the cheapest160 thing they had. "... Vegetable soup please." "Is that all?" Replied the woman. "Yep..." As the waitress walked away, Tetsu had looked around the room again, from behind him, to his sides. He wondered how outside could be so crowded yet in here's it was like a ghost town.

As the waitress came back, Tetsu just had to ask why the village was the way it was. "Excuse me? Is there a reason for everyone to be in a rush like that?" " The village is kinda like a trade post. With the battle that happened in Konoha supplies are needed everywhere. And with Konoha being one of the villages that helped with the trades, we gotta find new villages to have exchanges with." "I see..." Tetsu didn't know how the trade system worked but he did understand what the waitress was saying. Still having the waitress attention, he took out the paper which had the adresse of his delivery location. "Do you happen to know where this is?" "Yep. When you step out, just follow the path north then turn right. You can't miss it." "Thank you" With his questions answered, Tetsu started to eat his soup and fill up his stomach.

Taking to heart what Amane said, she readied herself for the exercise. When she felt ready she began. Stepping forward with her left leg she angled the blade upwards as she swung it from her knees to just above her head while her left leg came up and met her right foot. She held this pose for a couple of seconds then keeping her lower body stationary she changed the blades angle and swung downwards. Not being used to the drill her body began to tense up a bit.

Realizing that she gave herself time after the chest swing was completed and took a moment to relax her muscles once more before she continued. After fully relaxing her muscles she started up again this time taking a step back with her left foot as she pivoted around on her right foot. As she did this she changed the angle of the blade by setting it horizontal making the hilt face the left while the blade ran to the right. After a complete one eighty she followed through with the motion of the turn with a right swing. Moments after the right swing had been completed she changed the angle of the blade one last time before finishing out the drill with a good, strong left swing.

After she finished she relaxed again and began once more following through the motions of the drill a little better each time. She also started to make use of peripheral vision more and more with each strike not really noticing big changes until about the tenth time. That's when she started noticing smaller things such as falling leaves and a rare glimpse of a fox's eyes from within the gap of a nearby bush then after about fifty times Namu had suddenly stopped. She felt the strain on her muscles and could not continue.

"Amane-sensei I can't do anymore right now.." she said as her knees buckled underneath her own weight.

Amane studied here movements carefully as she took each swing accompanied by a set of steps. He knew that it may have bothered her that he was observing from such a close distance, but he could not afford any mistakes. The life of a rogue shinobi was not easy, and he needed to train her in the most speed efficient manner. He was actually slightly impressed by the speed with which she was able to grasp the exercise, as it became more natural to her with each repetition. The early nerves and tensing of the muscles had disappeared, which was a good sign she had begun to get more comfortable with the exercise.

The progression went well for the most part, until she seemed to not be able to control her movements any longer, eventually collapsing on her knees. She stated, "Amane-sensei I can't do anymore right now..," which ticked him off. He frown slightly, and dismissed his pose to walk towards her. He looked down upon the girl whom seemed to have some significant strain but nothing serious, and went on to state,

"Then what? What happens when you can't swing anymore? When you're arms are burning from the number of times you've moved them, over and over. When the enemies keep coming? Do you just give up, like that?"

These were a set of rhetorical questions. He did not expect an answer, and by the look of her face she knew the severity of the situation. He helped her up once more and decided to change the exercise in order to lift up her spirits once more. He asked her for the dummy katana. After he took hold of the weapon he began to explain the details of the following exercise.

"Since we still have time I figure we could go through another set of exercises before lunchtime, I'm sure you wouldn't mind," he stated, again of course with the intention of having no opposition from Namu. "I will be striking at you, and you will do your best to dodge. If I come in for an overhead strike, don't wait for me to strike, charge into my body, using your shoulder (either one) to hit the center of my chest to knock me back. If I swing from the bottom up, left or right, step back to dodge. So we will proceed like this, 1 (Bottom-up), 2 (Left to right), 3 (Right to left), and 4 (Overhead strike, charge in).

He gave her a few minutes to collect herself, even offering her a few sips of water from a canteen he provided. Once she was ready, the pair began their second exercise. He began slowly, in order for her to grasp the movements. The first set of rushes to him were light, but with each strike he demanded that she charge in faster and stronger.

"Don't give me a chance to swing! Come at me! That's it! Use your legs!"

*Bonus Option: If available, feel free to use Namu's theme.

(Basically, its dodge, dodge, dodge, rush in for bum rash tackle with your shoulder to the center of his chest and repeat.)
