Wow, now the teacher is going crazy, I thought he had a bomb not a knife. I would imagine that he will kill a student and not himself.

Anyway, was it just me or did Mei looked cuter in this episode? I guess that this is the beginning of a good friendship, I don't think that we can expect much of a romantic side to their relationship here.

Mei Misaki - the cutest 2012 character!!

She's not that original; plus it's pretty early in 2012.

Anyhow, the storyline is still ridiculously bad as of right now, if they manage to craft it into something not ridiculously illogical and cliche, then great, till then, it's just bad. At least Mei has more character than a certain pink-haired heroine in a certain mediocre series.

Crazy teacher is crazy..
So, just one thing... did I get it right? The original Misaki(the boy with the name of the town) died and everyone decided to pretend he's there. In the graduation picture, he was actually there. So the curse started and every class has to pretend in exchange for Misaki's presence that someone isn't there. And when the person doesn't follow the rules, people die. So... what's with the "dead person"? Nobody's dead, they just pretend someone doesn't exist. Please tell me if I'm wrong... -_-

There is someone dead, and because of that they should pretend like someone else doesn't exist. I don't completely get it as well, it looks like the author has let us believe that Misaki is a ghost and all that stuff (eps 1-4), and then he just destroys it all and says "well, she's a normal girl, but there's someone dead blah blah...".

I could tell as soon as that teacher walked in that he was going to pull a knife out of his bag, and I also suspected he'd kill himself. Now that I think about it, he'll most likely take a couple of students with him, especially judging by the next episode preview.

I can't wait to find out who the dead person is, either! My current prime suspects are Izumi, Teshigawara, and Kazami.

Yay finally some real horror , this anime does a very good job at surprising people .

also love the gore and scared face expression because they look so natural and disturbing

Awesome episode as usual. The preview looked intense. Can't wait ^_^

Now I'm REALLY suspecting Reiko.. Anyway, cute episode, next one seems brutal. Just how I like it.

The moment i saw the teacher walking in the hallway, i knew he would do something.
But i thought he was going to pull something like a bazooka gun but smaller xD.

By the way when the dancing scene started I was like WTF?! and laughing hysterically.

First:
CAN MEI GET ANY CUTER? Seriously, she was rather cute the whole EP already (I love girls who are a bit more silent, 'Nagato-like'), but then during Sakakibara's imagination-dance-sequence, she killed me. Especially since that is among the things I would do if I wanted the class to notice me XD
Also, the scene on the roof was heartwarming. GO SAKAKIBARA! COOK YOUR WAY TO HER HEART!
And when he was in class, looking around, looking at Mei and she looked back, smiling.
Damn, I'm in full shipping mode now XD

Second:
Nobody died O.O Yet
I was wrong, the teacher is no zombie after all, he's a knife nut. I expected something drastic to happen when I saw him shambling through the hallway like that, but I expected a gun or something. But a Knife is very Asakura-approved and good for a killing spree as well. And next episode, there will be blood.

Also, some more BG info about the curse (or not-curse? Dunno, people dieing horribly has something malicious in my books, but I may just be oversensible). Looks like they will try to stop the killing mid-term now. I wonder what they'll come up with.

And back to square one.

I really enjoy this episode it was good to know more story about what happen 26 year ago and what happen since then,also it looks like the Kouichi mom die because of the curse....

Mei x Kouchi its pretty cute Mei is just adorable and i really really laugh when they started dancing from no were my favorite part of this episode.

Teacher got nuts and going Higurashi style next week...next episode looks awesome!!!

Whoa, superb episode.

The explanation about the continued and it was nicely done, very misterious. I really have to praise the author of this story, he really thought about the details, there's no flaws for the plot so far as I can tell. I only thing I missed is why can't the students leave the town, does someone know?

And the teacher...First I thought he was going to die then I thought he was going to pull a gun and kill someone right away, and then he grabbed a knife... I wonder how he's going to kill someone with it because students may very well escape but at the preview they are shown sat down in their chairs...

And, can someone clarify something for me? Yukari's name appeared on the credits this episode, but I don't remember seeing her. Did she appear?
