| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Wow, now the teacher is going crazy, I thought he had a bomb not a knife. I would imagine that he will kill a student and not himself. Anyway, was it just me or did Mei looked cuter in this episode? I guess that this is the beginning of a good friendship, I don't think that we can expect much of a romantic side to their relationship here. |

| She's not that original; plus it's pretty early in 2012. Anyhow, the storyline is still ridiculously bad as of right now, if they manage to craft it into something not ridiculously illogical and cliche, then great, till then, it's just bad. At least Mei has more character than a certain pink-haired heroine in a certain mediocre series. |

| I could tell as soon as that teacher walked in that he was going to pull a knife out of his bag, and I also suspected he'd kill himself. Now that I think about it, he'll most likely take a couple of students with him, especially judging by the next episode preview. I can't wait to find out who the dead person is, either! My current prime suspects are Izumi, Teshigawara, and Kazami. |

| First: CAN MEI GET ANY CUTER? Seriously, she was rather cute the whole EP already (I love girls who are a bit more silent, 'Nagato-like'), but then during Sakakibara's imagination-dance-sequence, she killed me. Especially since that is among the things I would do if I wanted the class to notice me XD Also, the scene on the roof was heartwarming. GO SAKAKIBARA! COOK YOUR WAY TO HER HEART! And when he was in class, looking around, looking at Mei and she looked back, smiling. Damn, I'm in full shipping mode now XD Second: Nobody died O.O Yet I was wrong, the teacher is no zombie after all, he's a knife nut. I expected something drastic to happen when I saw him shambling through the hallway like that, but I expected a gun or something. But a Knife is very Asakura-approved and good for a killing spree as well. And next episode, there will be blood. Also, some more BG info about the curse (or not-curse? Dunno, people dieing horribly has something malicious in my books, but I may just be oversensible). Looks like they will try to stop the killing mid-term now. I wonder what they'll come up with. |

| Good episode,we got more background on this one. I really enjoy this episode it was good to know more story about what happen 26 year ago and what happen since then,also it looks like the Kouichi mom die because of the curse.... Mei x Kouchi its pretty cute Mei is just adorable and i really really laugh when they started dancing from no were my favorite part of this episode. Teacher got nuts and going Higurashi style next week...next episode looks awesome!!! |
| Whoa, superb episode. The explanation about the continued and it was nicely done, very misterious. I really have to praise the author of this story, he really thought about the details, there's no flaws for the plot so far as I can tell. I only thing I missed is why can't the students leave the town, does someone know? And the teacher...First I thought he was going to die then I thought he was going to pull a gun and kill someone right away, and then he grabbed a knife... I wonder how he's going to kill someone with it because students may very well escape but at the preview they are shown sat down in their chairs... And, can someone clarify something for me? Yukari's name appeared on the credits this episode, but I don't remember seeing her. Did she appear? |

| it was too happy and cheerful with him and Mei. so he already talked to her which is why they couldn't explain it? I was kinda disappointed when the teacher goes nuts but only pulls out a knife? so yeah if I was in Koichi's spot and everyone was going to ignore me anyway...... I'd so troll everybody. dancing in the middle of class is a start. knock stuff over. write on people. it'd be amusing. grab some random girls .... lol |

It's like the 'curse' starts because the dead student is not being acknowledged as existing. So to make up for it, they treat someone of their choosing as someone who doesn't exist. That makes the number of students right. This year is really messed up because they enrolled a transfer student after class already began. I think Misaki didn't become the one that didn't exist until Kouichi enrolled in the class. Now out of desperation, they are treating Kouichi like he doesn't exist to make up for him speaking to Misaki. Which of course will not work, first of all, it has already started, and secondly, the number is still wrong. I think. |

| It's very likely that Sakakibara is the dead person. Remember how his dad said he was in Yomiyama 1.5 years ago, then immediately "corrects" himself after a few seconds of static? This hints towards Sakakibara dying in Yomiyama 1.5 years ago, and being back as the deceased student, a situation similar to the one described by the librarian (Mami Asakura originally being a student in 1993, but coming back as the deceased student in 1996). |

| Misaki mei is so cute, i just can't get over it. Sakakibara and misaki realy make a great couple i hope they kiss soon or atleast hold hands. Realy looking forward to misaki eating sakakibara's bento. That scene on the roof was realy cute. |

| another terrific episode, i love this anime~ teacher going psycho next ep, cant wait, hahaha! It seems the curse will continue because now the class will loose some students by the teacher´s hands. Perhaps they will start talking with Sakakibara again. |

| Wow, alot of things happened in this episode and more plus points for the Mei x Kouichi boat. The dance scene was hilarious. We now know what happened to Mei's left eye and the reason for it to be "specially made" by her mother. I hope we see more of Mei's mother, I think she has some useful info. The moments they spent together (e.g. by the river, rooftop, playground, art club, etc) were heart warming and priceless. Higurashi-style coming up next week. Darn, 1 more week to wait! BRB, going to make a time machine to time-leap to Monday. |

| Great episode!!!! Wonder who's the walking dead in class 3....I am glad that Mei exists and is not just a ghost or Sakaki's imagination. From the moment i saw that teacher walking down the hall with the big sack in hand i thought he was going to do something crazy. Or at first i thought he was going to drop dead in front of the whole class or kill himself with the knife he took. Can't wait to see what will happen~ |

| Hmm. A cool-off episode, or at least until the end. Really cleared up a lot of things and now we're to the real action! I see that it's taking the path of 'explaining things then adding crazy plot ideas' I'm also happy that Mei exists; it takes away the horrible feeling of creepiness. :) I was so happy when those kids in the art club said hi to her :D Crazy teacher.. xD And next episode looks brutal. Huuuuuuuu~! Time to cool off with some Natsume Yuujinchou Shi <3! :D 5/5 |

| I love the chemistry between Sakibara and Misaki, I could hear them talking all day without getting bored. Without doubt the smooth BGM contributed a lot to this fact. It's nice to get more answers and as expected there's no guarantee that ignoring Sakakibara will stop the calamities since it's only a desperate attempt to begin with. Misaki has an interesting outlook on life due to her near-death experience at an young age. So, in her opinion there's no difference between living and being dead. In both cases you are alone. I suppose this explains her calmness opposed to the anxiety of her class mates. I have to say that Misaki's mother's decision to fabricate a glass eye with a different colour for her daughter was kind of a dick move. I wouldn't be happy when someone forced heterochromia upon me just because it's supposed to be "attractive". I was astounded to see Misaki getting treated so warmly by the other classes' students. It's obvious that there are other students at the school but up to this moment I wasn't really aware of it consciously.It leaves a bad taste in my mouth that only the students from class 3 had the bad luck to end up in this specific class while all the other ones were spared. It's nice to see that Misaki wasn't fully isolated even before becoming closer with Sakibara, though. |

| I love how the anime is easier and clearer to understand then the manga. I also LOVE how Misaki and Sakakibara-kun's relationship are getting closer. |
| This episode was heartwarming because of the developing relationship between Mei and Kouichi (^_^) No one died this time but in return there was a great suspense at the end. The last scene reminded me the final episode of School Days and I thought that teacher is going to pull somebody's head out of his bag, but it was just a kitchen knife. I think that he will kill only himself because what he said indicated that he's doing this in order to protect all of the students of the class 3. |

| That dance. I wish that Kouichi and Mei actually did it! That just made my day. Hahaha. So the Misaki that died is a guy named Yomiyama. And our librarian won't be affected by the curse. I can't believe they ripped Mei's painting. Well, that is the effect of being non existent. But sure those kouhai didn't know the curse. I wonder why? Or because they only tell them when they enter third year. Can't wait for more! (now rewatches the dance scene...) |

| Another great episode. Looks like shit's about to start getting fucked up next episode--Hinamizawa style. I'm glad that crazy dancing was just Kouichi's imagination and didn't actually happen. | Actually the ep was quite ok, definitely best ep so far. It was interesting to see those two investigating a bit. They would sure make a good couple. Misaki is really cute ;-) The best scene was definitely the daydream. Didn't see that coming, it was hilarious xD The cliffhanger with the teacher on the contrary was somehow ridiculous. I think he'll just kill himself. Well, at least we get some blood n' splatter to see ;-) |
