| They mentioned it as early as episode 8 that the SARGs have some kind of human element or soul alongside the alien motor so kind of always expected the same for Frank. And considering the similarities to Eva that was another reason to suspect such, though Yuri Leonov was unexpected. Then again Yuri Leonov is probably a play on the actual Russian astronaut Alexei Leonov, who looks strikingly similar to the astronaut in the beginning of the ED. |
