That's why back in that episode I said that the flashback was stupid, because it undermines what would've made Zancrow's revelation revealing.

Holy shit, Laxus's comeback was so damn epic.
One of the best episodes of entire series yet imo.

If she knew, then she wouldn't be oh so very open to accept Ultear as her second mom, now would she? Besides, she was young and distraught, so it's natural for her to not have been able to process that the ones who destroyed her home were the ones who took her in at the time.

Good episode, the way Juvia was chasing after Meredy was pretty hilarious. Thought the start of the battle between FT team vs Hades was a bit quicker than i expected it to be. Finally Laxus is back! Been waiting for this since manga even thought i don't like how it ends lol.

On a side note Zeref mentioning Acnologia ;o Won't be long till his coming now :D

Too bad that Zeref is not interested in showing Hades who's the top dark wizard here. At least he accidently owned Zancrow.

And the magic council guys..at least they won't interfere any longer. Unless they decide to use Etherion again. Which would be lame, and won't work anyways. I wonder though what the magic council is actually good for. I mean, in universe. They always show up to late or arrest the wrong people. And if they are actually there in time, they do not even try after a bit of resistance.

Shouldn't the guild masters already decided to disband the council? Seeing that there are countless dark guilds, most of them quite small and not really strong, when they can get away from the councils influence, if the (top) legal guilds decided the council was useless, they could easily shed him off.

I mean, if they would gain something from the council, they could decide to deal with the incompetence, but it was never shown that this was the case. They have to deal with the dark guilds directly while their members get arrested for doing so, and they actually jail people that, despite the objection of the people who first suffered from and then fought them.

And when they know what's going to happen, instead of at least informing the two dozen members including the guild master of a legal guild which they are supposed to "oversee", they run away. Even Mest/Daronbolt, who mostly changed his opinion on Fairy Tail. Magic council indoctrination runs deep i guess.

I wonder if they will talk about this in Fairy Tail. Would be funny. Especially if they really would disband the council afterwards ;)

I've waited what felt like years for this. The best character in Fairy Tail by far IMO. I was hoping for "Fairy Law" to play but oh well, it's LAXUS, it's epic regardless.

I literally ignored the last ten episodes and watched this one, I might just catch up officially now.

Finally the final battle starts!

Zancrow came out of nowhere. I wonder how he found her, but he is a Slayer so i guess he could smell them?
They pulled another "kids are stupid" past with Meldy. It was so obvious when they showed it before, why should we be surprised when Zancrow said it to Meldy? And Zeref saying: "I didn't want to do anything in this age...but if this age somehow ends i just might start my reign of terror again!" What is with you Zeref? You hate killing, sometimes kill your surroundings and try to kill people who try to make you kill the world and the only thing stopping you from going anywhere else is because the time is not right? Maybe they explain it later...

Lisanna staying with her brother and sister. Didn't expect anything more from her anyway.

They did a very good job with the first half of the fight. The music and the people running, some new moves from Gray and Erza and the animation was above average if were going with Exceed standards. But the other half: Hades making a gun with his fingers and shoots them with magic...seriously? It was so SILLY! How can i take this guy seriously when he turns out to be a cheap Revolver Ocelot knockoff?

The part where Wendy was saved thanks to Horologium was a bit jarring. Hades just stands there and lets them talk this funny bit out. But Laxus in the end saved it. Did Hades see the young Makarov in Laxus?

I just had a freeza/dende flashback when watching Hades attempt on erasing wendy.

That acrobatic fighting at the beginning was impressive. And Laxus arriving was pimp.

Juvia is just... amazingly.. scary !!!

This is why Fairy Tail is the best shonen on TV right now. One of the best eps in the history of the show.

THAT WAS A GREAT EPISODE!

I'm actually interested in the finale to this arc....and HOPEFULLY it's not so damn cliche like all the other FT arc finales.

I already knew that Laxus was coming because of the name of the episode!
When he finally came I was like HELL YEAH! LAXUS IS ABOUT TO KICK HADES'S ASS!!!!
You guys are right. The episode was so awesome that it felt short.
