I just saw this RAW. Very beautiful story about fireflies but specifically one beautiful women.

I can't say much about it since it is RAW but I can say that Hotaru did indeed fall in love with that man but that man got a girlfriend. In the end getting them to marry was just a great thing from Hotaru to bless him like that.

Hotaru trying to commit suicide because of this love, was another example about certain issues in Japan.

The heated love part was the best love between ghost and human of this series that's apart from the friendship love of #7. Nyanko sensei IS THE BEST! See you when subs are out.

the theme of becoming normal is terrific

I don't know about this one. The ingredients were there for a beautiful, touching story, but I'm not sure either the art or the lacklustre characterisation were focused enough. They weren't bad by any means; they also weren't that good.

I hope there's a bit of a revival (in, I don't know, overall healthiness?) before I get a bit too disenchanted.

Nyanko-sensei... so fun and Natsume and his memories ;_;

Quite a gorgeously directed episode. It almost didn't need words at all, and that's just what held it back...dialogue...and was anyone else weirded out by that guy patting Natsume's head like that? Very weird to me....

^ It did seem weird, but he did pat Hotaru's head like that. I guess he misses doing that to her and does it on Natsume instead. Or Natsume is that adorable and attracts older men.

Ah, Nyanko Sensei was hilarious and the story was touching as ever~

For the next episode, I'm really hoping the new character will bring some interesting moments with this "aura" of his. lol

I loved this episode, it was so sweet and sad I almost cried n__n
Still it was quite similar to the previous two, and while the series is awesome as is, I really hope for some development other than 'a saved soul a week, Mushishi style' ...

Yay for Japan SCREW Disney? That's what I think when I see this story and compare something similar but with Disney setting.

You about a soul a week thingy....he does have 108 names to give back and right now I think (SOMEONE CORRECT ME IF I AM WRONG) somewhat 20 spirits more or less so at the very least he still has 80 names to give back.

Great ep. I find it hilarious how Nyanko-sensei's butt looked like a Pokeball during the scene where Hotaru turned to a firefly in Natsume's room.

another awesome episode! i felt so sad that i almost cried when that guy couldn't see hotaru anymore. by the way,i like how natsume is holding nyanko sensei in this episode, so nyanko sensei is really contented to be a pet huh....

Actually I did not notice that but looks like a lot of LOL.
