I watched a couple episodes and I think it has a lot of good things to it, but I am really confused what's going on. I would really like it if someone can explain it. Also is there a way to watch the dub online because that might make it less confusing for me. |

I'm not really sure what it is that you find confusing. What is it that you don't understand? |

Sorry for the lack of details. There are 2 different stories going and I am trying to figure out the connection between the characters. Along with Chihiro who I believe has a memory problem but like I said I am still kinda confused. |

Along with Chihiro who I believe has a memory problem but like I said I am still kinda confused. Yes she has a memory defect. If you watch both series you find out that pretty much every character has an earlier connection to every other character. With the exception of a couple like Miyako. The second season will take the supporting characters and make them main characters and vice versa. They're also in 2 different cities. One in Australia and one in Japan. Chihiro and Kei are sisters. Hiro is their childhood friend. Kei and Hiro are in Japan. Chihiro is in Australia where she encounters Renji. Saying anything more might just give away spoilers. You just have to watch and connect the dots as you go. Modified by Apok23, 02-09-12, 8:05 PM |

Things will come together as the show progresses so i suggest you stick with it, Melodies also brings the whole picture together so if you like Memories you should like its sequel. ![]() |

I completely missed that the events take place in two different countries. That's embarrassing, I guess I'll need to rewatch Memories before moving on to Melodies. |

Well the two cities thing doesn't really play a role in the first season and doesn't matter at all. It isn't made fully clear until the second season so I wouldn't worry about it. It plays into the second season a lot. Especially with Yuu and Yuuko. |

It's not about understanding the plot that I worry about. I feel I couldn't properly interpret the parallels of Yuu & Yuuko and the other couples. Because I thought they were in the same town, their never meeting each other when both are waiting for the other to come is a metaphoric impossibly long yet short distance depending on how you view being afraid being close hurts you or the one you love similar to the cases of the high school age characters of the series. |

Thx for the help and i will continue the series. So there isn't an actual dub version because I like subs but I sometimes miss out on other things while reading. |

You should definitely continue the series. It's worth it. There is a dub version. It actually just very recently came out, like a couple weeks ago. Since it is so recent I haven't been able to find it on any websites but I haven't really looked that hard either since I went out and bought it on the day it came out. The second season dub is coming out March 20th, I think. |

If you're a U.S. resident, the dub/sub bluray (sentai filmworks) just came out a few weeks ago here. I highly recommend it. ![]() Yay, I like english dubs. |
