According to Kodansha, two OVAs of Sankarea were announced to be bundled with the six and seventh volumes of the comic books. The first and second volumes will be released on June 8th and November 9th. The story of the first volume is an original one written by the manga's author. Before the beginning of the main story, Rea and Chihiro have already encountered at a certain place—an outdoor hot-spring bath. If they follow the manga (which they never do) it's going to be great. |

>Implying Seitokai no Ichizon was anything less than awesome is just plain wrong. Seitokai no Ichizon, probably, is the only exeption >Lack of source material. It'll only be 12 or 13 episodes but 25 chapters still isn't a lot to work with. There could always be S2 later >Director is completely unknown. So unknown, in fact, that there's no information about him/her on the internet. Unknown director is always >>bad director |

There could always be S2 later I think the problem he is trying to point out is that there isn't much to sayin the few chapters available. I really don't know how many chapters/episode they usually go for (since this is the first time i read a manga that becomes an anime), but if you just look at the story progression its clear that there isn't much to talk about for ~5hours. You could actually read the whole manga in a little more than 1h.. maybe 2. A second season is not the problem... is the lack of source to make a decent first one that concern some people. Which is sad since is nice story an all... huh? |

Before the beginning of the main story, Rea and Chihiro has already encountered at a certain place. That's an outdoor hot-spring bath. An outdoor hot-spring bath ? AN OUTDOOR HOT-SPRING BATH ? OMIGAWD, that is such a brilliant idea !!! Why don't other anime have episodes featuring an outdoor hot-spring bath ??? ... ... ... Yeah, plot-less ecchi crap incoming. |

Knowing DEEN, it'll be an ecchi episode without any actual nudity... making the whole hot springs thing pointless. ![]() |
