THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Another cool episode :) No gory death scene this episode, but it's fine and dandy when we got to know alot of background information :) Still absolutely loving this show. It isn't really that scary. But the suspense is off the hook. You should have just ignored her Kouichi bakame. |

So she is not a ghost, not disappointing but I was hoping for the supernatural. Still the story if the class is interesting. It seems that the art teacher was part of that class as well, it would explain why she was avoiding him. Anyway, from the preview, I would guess that they become closer. I wonder if there will be some sort of romantic element to their relationship. |

What I don't get, though, is why has the curse started again? Is it because Koichi joined the class? And if so, could it mean Koichi himself is dead? |

Is it also because: Misaki Mei relates to the girl from class '72. and Main Character's mother was in that class? Signature removed. Please follow the signature rules, as defined in the Site & Forum Guidelines. |

What if... his mom died while pregnant with him, he was never born and his whole life is a lie. Now he's part of the class that caused his mom to die, as the 'dead' person, and he just carries the curse on. Dun dun dunnnn! |

Some of my suspicions became truth this episode. I expected the treatment of mei to be some kind of counterreaction to the girl who died but was kept alive. I DIDN'T expect that kouichi now got the same treatment, but it looks like it works out for the better: He's getting closer to Mei. (I'm really starting to ship them) I expect that they will now start to look for the dead person (I suspect the male teacher - he teaches like a Zombie XD) Also, one question: I'm not into disabled girls - at all! So.... WHY THE FARK IS MEI SO FARKING MOE? >.< I want Rambo in a mecha-suit with a laser-chainsaw gun that fires nuclear warheads, fighting the love-child of Predator, Alien, a group of Bangladeshi terrorists, and Satan. (Actually that would be a pretty sick show) - StopDropAndBowl |

The poor schoolboy loses his sister in a horrid accident yet he's sent off to school the next day? :( The boy who had a heart attack may not of had a dramatic exit, but honestly, I'd rather endure either one of the swift freak accident deaths that occured in the previous episodes over that - so far, he had it the worst. Very interesting approach to dealing with an oversubscription. ;) Though why do the school keep on accepting new children into that class? Good episode. BossLuffy said: I wish the MC would nail that red-head girl already... >:I The tsundere with the pigtails? If so, why rush? I'm willing to place a bet that if this series continues down the mass death path, the 'cute tsundere' will be there at the end. |

This episode mainly served as infodump, however, not one minute felt dull even disregarding the fatality due to the great direction of this show. There are still a few questions open but I'm confident they will get answered in the next few episodes. It's unfortunate that Kouichi was eventually the one who caused this string of events but his behaviour is understandable. One of the most assertive human traits is curiosity after all and to be honest who wouldn't have acted the same way as he did. I wouldn't exclude a non-supernatural reason for the happenings at this moment, though, no matter how unlikely it sounds. There's a possibility that the elevator last episode could have been rigged by some people. Without regard to this speculation now the main goal will probably be to find the "extra" student. To achieve this it's probably the best that Kouichi receives the same treatment like Mei, he has at least one person now who he can speak about this issue directly. In retrospect it's kinda obvious that studio M is Mei's home which is pretty stylish for that matter. Modified by ForMyAmusement, 02-06-12, 12:38 PM |

![]() I love this moment. Mei is hidden by that guy sitting there, and it makes you wonder if Mei really exist. Great. We got answers this ep. and now we already know that Mei isn't a ghost. Mika_Inamori, haha, i thought the same when he said it. I was like "Hmm, he said something to Sakakibara, so is he gonna die next?" and then imagined how at his death he curses the fact he said "I'm sorry" xD. “See the good in that which is evil, and the evil in that which is good. Pledge yourself to neither side, but vow instead to preserve the balance that exists between the two.” ― Hayao Miyazaki |
