| this was the best of the 4 in my oppinion. Liked the little daikichi/rin moment at the end..and the moment with the light bug on rin's, and when yukari put the hair accesory on rin's hair.. all cute alltogether. i'm gonna miss this anime 7/10 |

| Loved this special, wish we could've got to see them at the festival as episode 8 & 8.5 bookend the festival but don't show it. Regardless loved the scene with the fireflies by the waterway, and Rin was so cute in her festival garb, loved when Yukari gave her the hairpin. Also really liked how each of the 4 Specials/Shorts correlated to the seasons of Rin's first year with Daikichi, very nice symmetry and the way the opening titles/end credits visually match nicely with the end credits of each of the adjoining episodes they serve as epilogues to was also a great touch. |

| Look at the four of them, they could've been the perfect family :'( Even though these specials were short, they did manage to capture the essence of the original series. And after 7 years, I guess this was truly the end. |

| Daikichi and Kouki bonding as the one braincell that they are. And Rin having a solid mother figure. MY HEART. The music in this short was also just super solid. |

| Yukari looked so beautiful in that Yukata! Daikichi is lucky, but he's so slow! I would've confessed my feelings to her if I were him since he's already gotten that far with her. Then we could live in my house together as one family! |
