| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- amazing,this show just amazes me so seven kakeru and kouta transfer to a new school to play soccer ,but fin out there is 2 soccer clubs,and araki ,the "rival" friend of suguru quit soccer and has no intent on plsying(although its obvious kakeru will get him to join again). hahah i wonder waht will happen in the face off in the next episode (b/c his friend kouta made it into yhe rival team!) |

Most of the time it's about the characters and their predicaments. It's why I get annoyed at how majority of people ignore these shows because they are 'sports'. You don't need to like the sport to enjoy the show. |
| Agree with velcom here, although of course it does help if you're interested in the sport, but indeed don't expect them to just play soccer matches for tens of episodes without any real story behind it. Next episode already the match caught me by suprise as well, not dragging at all if anything a bit rushed even, although I am looking forward to it of course, should be good ^^ |
| hm.. haven't seen many sports anime in my time.. but i really like this one even though i dont know much about soccer.. thank god i picked this up :D |

| That was sure rushed! "Okay plot, run like the wind, next episode we got to make this soccer finally happen!" XD But it's still good. xP And yeah velcom is right, but not only sports anime! Any anime must have likeable characters and good developing of them to be really good. Most of the time at leas I guess. XD |
| Ok so if the match is in two weeks then what's the point trying to convince the fat guy to play in the match. The guy can't possibly become thin and get in shape in two weeks so how exactly is he gonna play? With that body his gonna be dead tired after playing for 10 minutes. And if they can't win then it's all over for the year since they won't be able to play in any matches. |

| The first five of this anime episodes are rather seems predictable...nevertheless this particular episode was really a success! It brings out the excitement , :) |
