I like both series but neither one of them are really qualified to criticize the other given that both of they each have flaws. |

Kumagaya Jun really didn't have to go that far seeing that persona is a game adaptation which means 80% of the script is based off the game. and Guilty crown is an original work, yes i admit some eps where cliched. but if he thinks he can do better why not go and write an original script. |

And there are many of those int he current anime scene. Look at them and their favourites. And the sad thing is, those people WILL buy shit like this and it'll be the reason why we don't get more anime like Chihayafuru, Hyouge Mono or Moyashimon. Instead, we only get more otaku pandering series, because these dulled masses have reached a point where they are unable to discern quality from crap. And that's what is really bugging me about GC. Seriously its just hard to believe you can screw script for anime like GC.  |

Persona 4 wins the award of being my 10th series to drop. Ever. And the first these past two years. I fail to see what is good about it. Animation it horrible, pacing is disjointed at best, the main character knows of only a few more than ten words, and all of the rest of the characters act like melodramatic sissys. Guilty Crowns main flaw is Shu. Remove him and it would at least be somewhat entertaining. No one thing would fix P4. And I don't care if P4 is a faithful game adaptation. You can't follow a game to the dime and expect it to work as an anime. The pacing is atrocious because of this...among other things. |

Also, i'm not saying that you can't enjoy that anime for what it's worth, but if you seriously think it has any merit beyong being flashy (like it seems to be the case for th most GC watchers) than we have a serious poblem. No. Guilty Crown's main problem isn't only Shu, but just about every god damn characters (except Segai). Plus, as I said earlier, the fucking plot is all over the place and it's not aiming anywhere. The P4 adaptation is working perfectly, although the pace is strange since it has a lot of timeskips. And the animation is pretty bad. |

Gee~ it sure is a drama season around here. It's the best sales tactic anyone has at the moment. I agree that GC sucks...besides the animation. OST is just bland to me. P4 is so bad. Really really bad. It's so bad it's good to me though. Would I ever buy it on DVD? Hell no. I would not buy either of these shit series. . |

Really, he shouldn't complain about it. It's worthless. He should just prove that he is better. Guilty crown for me is better than Persona 4 . True that some of GC episodes and scenario is really bad, but Persona 4 is not better either, good point of Persona 4 is it is fun to watch, but definitely not the scenario . He's right, but his scrips are just as bad so he has no right to complain. At least GC has beautiful art and animation, P4 looks like complete shit. Can't believe it sold 40k+ copies.  |
