| The voting for February is officially closed!! The winners with 8 votes each are... Alternative Rock & Video Games. Each category is a vast one on each own, so I thought of creating a second voting poll to decide on our final theme. But since Video Games has already appeared in our polls before and didn't win by just a few votes, I think it's only fair to not risk it again in yet another poll. So since both categories won our theme is again double. That means you all get to post two songs again this time, if you want, one song from each category. Welcome... Alt. Rock & VGM I promised for the big titans last month and here they are! Hooray to our current theme! :) Start posting your songs from now on!! Deadline is the 29th of February, at 23:59 GMT. (yay for a leap year!!) REMEMBER! DON'T post links of the music piece here! ONLY post youtube videos of your music choice. Instead, send the songs in a private message to Lumikki Whoever doesn't follow that, his or her comment will be erased and song choice won't be taken under consideration! | @Kaito-Chan: lol table flip （╯°□°）╯︵ ┻━┻ This month features an incredibly difficult choice for me, possibly even harder than previous ones. JusticeUndone really outdid herself this time *_* good job! (^_^)b Alternative Rock: great! I'm not picking it just because i have to choose only one, i like it so much! I'd like to see this winning. Video Games: i've always been a bit skeptic when it comes to this genre, but lately i found many game songs i like, so it's really sad to pass up on this one too. Another theme i'd like to see on the top. Hardcore: curiously, i like this one too, but to a lesser extent than the previous 2, so it was one of the first to be eliminated. Damn so many good themes :( One Hit Wonders: finally a theme i didn't have too much trouble to decide on, because this one normally include the infamous "summer songs" and catchy but forgettable tunes, which i'm not a big fan of. Duets: luckily again, this is not one of my favourites because it's hard to find duets in genres i normally listen to. My pick, Vocaloid/Doujin: i love Vocaloid, i know some songs but i'm sure i'm missing many other good ones, so i feel like i can contribute and get to know some new ones that will possibly become favourites at the same time. I also have the feeling that this will be one of the less voted themes, and since i like many of the more popular ones anyway, i thought i could go for the underdog this time :) |

| As expected, great job, Justice. My votes goes to Video games. I thought I'd vote for Duets, but I like VGM more. Plus it's already got several votes. One Hit Wonders is also a very interesting theme, but it has slim chances so I didn't want to waste my vote. |

| I really can't decide what to vote for. I have a lot of good Green Day songs to contribute if alternative wins. But I'm curious what video games will be uploaded. My only fear is there won't be many contributions if games win. |

| I'm a little puzzled right now and I'll tell you why. I'm thinking that both Video Games and Alt. Rock are vast themes on their own. They totally deserve a single month each, where clearly all songs will belong to one category. It's not an easy mix, like with Epic Christmas or the MAL rollback list. So I thought of opening up a second poll for a few days, between Alt. rock and VGM. And this will be the official way of dealing with ties from now on. I think it's quite fair and reasonable. Let me know what you think. |
