| i feel tht ao no exorcist shouldve been one of those long ass series like katekyo hitman. if they followed closely to manga they couldve pulled it off but having few content to work with kills my idea. nonetheless first season was great, second will look good too. the ending for the 1st seems so conclusive tho |

| The movie will probably tie up the filler ending like what they did with Fullmetal Alchemist and FMA: Conqueror of Shambalah and then the 'second season' will probably just start over from the beginning but actually follow the manga like FMA: Brotherhood. |

| This is welcome news, I haven't actually read the manga yet but I enjoyed the series. :) But yeah, if he's trying to make it with new chapters of the manga, I'm not sure how it can work without a reboot, the ending was pretty obviously not canon and could change a lot of things... :/ |
| While the first season wasn't exceptionally good, it was definitely an above-average shounen, so sure, why not - after the ending I even feel like watching some more to see if they can repent for what they pulled off. |

| Good god, if a second season based on the manga was their intention all along, why didn't they just make the first season one cour? I haven't read the manga, but as far as I understand the first season went full on original content after the trial. And that would have been a pretty good cut off point, especially since I really liked the series until then. They could have ended with a climatic battle and everything. |

| They could easily go back onto canon plot with this. (Too bad canon's been getting kind of boring lately.) The only problem is that they said a support character in canon is dead in the anime. | How is it going to continue, since they changed a few things at the end that aren't in the actual manga? Also, I would gladly accept another season, if they don't make half of it another filler that is completely different from the original storyline, both in pace and proportions. |
