nextday Offline Joined: Nov 2009 Posts: 806	2011 saw the return of Ikuhara and 2012 sees the return of Watanabe. I wonder if any other famous directors will make their return to anime soon. Anyways, the only foreseeable problem is the story/genre. The staff looks solid and Yoko Kanno doing a jazz soundtrack means this anime will very likely have the best music of the year.

Anyway, Watanabe's back?! Yeah, I'd say that's cause to celebrate. =)
And won't it be airing alongside Nakamura's new title? If so, Spring 2012 may just be the best noitaminA block since Tatami Galaxy and House of Five Leaves.

How can you not love all of those shows? Each of those shows were unique and offered something fresh to the anime world. Especially "Eden of the east" that show alone made me raise me standards of what I saw as quality anime.

Good to know you're so willing to give them the benefit of the doubt... and you do know it's 2012 right now right?

Regardless, as has been said, noitaminA is a time slot not a studio, and the people who are working on this are people with undeniable talent who would have to work hard to make something awful. Not saying that it is outside the realm of logical thought for this to be bad... but they'd have to be working at it.

Not to mention josei anime are almost always amazing, and noitaminA's are no exception. Nodame, Kuragehime, Usagi Drop...

Iunno I think this has enough potential to at least warrant the benefit of the doubt. You can scream at me in April if it sucks.
