| I got a little teary eyed in the end again. I can't help it. This series just gets to me. If I had watched this privately, I would have cried... I really would. Natsume is so nice and good... He's an amazing character. Can't help but love him... And I love his and the little fox youkai's relationship and interactions. It was all very moving and sweet. And in the end where Natsume was travelling home with him... I almost couldn't hold it back. The music also goes so well with the mood and the anime itself... just amazing... an amazing series... So the cute fox is a he huh? I didn't even notice him wanting to be a man or something. So this was something I just found out in the comments section here. But I guess that's just because I'm really sleepy. But it won't change anything really. Lovely episode, always find it refreshing and calming to watch an episode of Natsume Yuujinchou. |

| Was tugging at the heart strings watching this... Why couldn't Kogitsune stay with him?!?!?!? For the record I can't see how it matters what gender Kogitsune is. |
| Sweet story of the little fox, all alone but also so strong, that's cute! <3 Narration melancholy and a little sad but also so full of hope following the birth of a union which will see together forever Natume and the little fox, who enjoyed seeing their embrace at the end of episode. * _ * Great episode with regard to the story, another step towards the maturation of Natsume. |

| Wow another great episode to follow up the last one. These two have definitely been my favorites through the series so far. I hope that the fox makes some recurring appearances actually - it'd be nice to have a few more characters in the cast. |

| It was a bit weaker than eps 1-5, needed more Natsume and Nyako-sensei imo, it was not so interesting for me with a POV different than Natsume's. Next ep's preview looks really promising. |

| I really feel emotional to saw a loner characters in anime, I feel sad for them :'( I'm okay feeling alone but seeing it to others feel me so sad! huhuhu The little fox is so cute, I want to adopt her!!!  |

| Loneliness is something no one should experience especially as a child. I’m glad Natsume stood up and saved him from being bullied. As a kid growing attached to someone is hard and it really shows in this episode. |

| Rewatched this episode like 5-6 times because how god damn adorable the little fox is, I can see a reflection of me in that kid really relate to his haunting loneliness that shrouds him. I sure do hope Natsume visits him, he found something of a guardian in him :) |
| wholesome ending, the relationship between Natsume and Kogitsune was cute as shit and was happy she got to see him again. Ending really was heartwarming since Natsume himself knows what it's like to be alone and neglected as a child. I will say though, looking back we've almost always gotten the happy ending of sorts? I'm wondering if something will spice up and we get a little more abrupt ending thats different from the rest, i'm sure the plot can manage it. |

| Little Fox makes me so sad. He projected his own feelings onto Natsume and hunted him down. If that doesn't make you sad I don't know what will. |

| Well what Natsume said about the fox boy being braver than him when he was at her age was true. In an earlier episode Natsume was helpless and lonely when he found out that he was "different" from others, but this girl actually took steps to not be lonely and give herself a purpose:). Also this is the first time that we see Natsume actually fight a yokai and defeat it. Guess that the dude with the lizard is gonna be introduced next. |
