Hoo.... I'm not even sure if I can be bothered watching another episode. For whatever reason, I found this first one TERRIBLE. It technically should've ticked all the boxes, but instead I find it cliche and boring. Guess coming here straight after watching an episode of Duradura!! wasn't a great plan. I'll try watching another episode to see if it gets better - EDIT- Ok I finished the series. My score moved from a 2 up to a 4 or 5 around the half way point. The last 2 episodes moved it up to a 7. Interesting start of the first episode, the development went already quite fast in the first episode so I wonder what the whole story will be like! From this first episode I rate the anime a 7/10 and the episode it self a 4/5!  |

Love it! I didn't know it had supernatural stuff but it made it better....and i'm not complaining or anythign I just wish the butler/ss guy would've been voiced by the one who did sebas from kuroshitsuji :D Signature removed. Please consult your PM for more details.  |

Watching the brand-new dub . . . I really enjoyed this series when it came out last year in the subbed version. Episode 1 of the dubbed version just appeared today. Is this the right forum to talk about the dubbed series? Anyways, I liked the series before and I watched it right through. However, these days not many anime series get dubbed. I thought that this was kind of a "niche" show. So I am surprised that they chose this series to dub. Lots of people hate dubs. For me, I like dubbed versions since I don't have to constantly stare at the screen to read the subtitles. It save on eye strain. If you want to understand what is going on, I suggest that you do some background research on the traditional Japanese legendary monsters. Otherwise it is going to seem pretty random to you. Most of that knowledge is assumed of the viewer, as I recall. Also, "SS" basically just means "bodyguard" in this context. It is unrelated to the United States Secret Service which is a government agency. So these "SS" people are privately-employed bodyguards. Modified by okanagan, 03-31-13, 6:51 AM |
