| wow after just watching Ghost in The Shell The Laughing Man(Summary Movie) last night. i hope it's just as good as that if it's only a recap. or better yet make it like a Rebuild of Evangelion or Hellsing Ultimate, but not changing the story. rework some scenes as well as add new ones(more flashbacks from C.C time would be nice) i think they're going with the Gundam Seed HD Remaster to be honest. all in all more Code Geass FTW! |

| I'm all for more code geass, as long as it does not do portray any event past the end of R2 as I felt it ended perfectly, but you have to get past the fan boyism and know sunrise is milking you for all you're worth. With Scryed getting alteration OVAs, gundam seed getting a remaster in HD and now all these code geass projects, they're revisiting just about every popular series they can. They're not doing this at the end of the day because they like code geass in the way we do, they do it because they know it will make them a handsome profit. I can see how you would still defend it if it was simply code geass alone, but so far everything they have done in 2012 is the renewal of old franchises that they know sell well, two of which made ridiculous amounts of money, one of which remain untouched as the top seller of any anime for many years until Bakemonogatari topped it. Don't think they're milking? Get real. Do I have a problem with it barring post R2 events? Nope :p. All I'm asking is that people admit it for what it is. |

| No need. It's either a retelling, which would be pointless. Or some stuff we haven't seen yet that happened during the show, which would effectively make it filler. Or it's indeed some sort of sequel, which is also pointless since it ended fine with everything wrapped up. |

| from what my friend in japan found out about the movie after gleaning for any morsels of information, this is what he has come up with, the movie takes place after the end of R2, and it is discovered that lelouch did die but in the sense that his name did, but not himself, so he travels around the world with CC in exile, no idea what the main plot is. also, the movie may or may not be canon, it might just be filler like the nunnally in wonderland ova. |
