Watched the 2 seasons in 5 days, love this anime, really adicting!!

Anyone know when 3rd season is coming out?

Btw anyone recommend reading the manga?

If so, is it worth reading chapters that cover this 2 seasons?

3rd Season hasn't been announced (yet) so we don't know. At earliest, it would be Summer '12



Yep, it is recommended. Season 2 ended with chapter 134.
Is it worth reading earlier chapters? Season 2 was very loyal to the source material so unless you are fan of awesome art, you can skip those.

Shikoku arc tough has quite a few differences with the original and it would be worth reading it from c29, aka Inugami arc (which was completely changed... for example, Inugami attacked a school filled with students and didn't live to see the final battle... Shiuei also never attacked Tamazuki's HQ and instead Gyuki's minions tried to infiltrate it) and till the end (parts concerning Sanmoto Gorozaemon's role in the arc have been completely cut out for some reason).

In summary, check the Shikoku arc at least due to some major differences with the Anime and than jump to c135 and read till the end. Hyakku Monogatari arc just finished and we are entering a new arc this week.

Just finished the anime. Third season would be awesome!

But them not announcing at the end of season 2, does that mean they're going to decide based on the merchandise sales...? that would suck :[

I'm pretty sure that at the end of the first season, there was no announement for the second season. The second season was much better than the first, so I'd hope that means they'd repeat what they did before.

Second season was announced before the first ended actually.

2nd seasons are usually better then the first because in the first they have to explain the characters who they are why you should care about them and also explain there powers

i mean they cant just skip stuff like that it fucks up the story completely however the first season could have been better but not in major ways

I think it'll take awhile before the season 3 but I think it'll have.

Yeah they cant leave us hanging with that ending, I'm looking forward to it if it comes.

Well they got the second season out pretty fast, and from what i've heard the manga is ending that sounds like the perfect time to continue it. And a lot of animes get sequels they just take a while.

It has to have a 3rd season! They need to fight Nue!!! I WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS!

Just finished the second season !
It was far better than the first !
Hopefully it gets a third season, but since it's almost Fall and they didn't announce it yet, I guess we won't see it soon ! >_<

Please I want a third season!!! Second season blew me away!! I am glad I gave the second season a chance (after watching the first season I was initially reluctant to watch the second season)!
