Only if you'd count an adaption of Tomoyo's VN (can't remember the name right now) as a season 3.

well either way its not like there'll be a season 3

I love the ending. I really wanna see more, but I think more would be redundant... Idk maybe because there isn't much to be seen after that.. except for how the daughters life turns out. But besides that I don't see what they could do with it.

they can continue with ushio as the main character i suppose but then again theres no way a season 3 would come out and clannad ended decently though i have a few complaints

They'd probably have to just continue the other arcs (Tomoyo, Kyou, the other characters) if there was to be a season 3... the ending was too final.

Well Clannad is over, done, never going to be continued so there's no point in discussing besides shouting out our many complaints

Yea I think the only way I would want a continuation would be if they went with Ushio as the main character and showed her high school days, although I doubt they could make it as emotionally stimulating as ~AS~.

Anyway, Jun Maeda isn't one who will continue his stories even though it's still have some potential for a sequel or OVA (the best example : Angel Beats)

I wouldnt mind another sequal ONLY if they can some how pull it off so it aint no dee da dee one only thing qould think is with ushio. But still prolly be next to impossible to make it as emotional.

It would make absolutely no sense to make a season 3 and definitely definitely not if it is not carefully thought out and written by Key themselves.

What might work though is an alternate ending story. I like the idea of Tomoya coming to terms with Nagisa's death and moving on, eventually marrying Kyou. Kyou's not even my favorite alternate heroine but somehow she fits the most.

Yea, Kitomi route could be pretty much fully told without her being Tomoya's love interest. However, Kyou and Tomoyo's route were mutually exclusive to Nagisa's because they HAD to be Tomoya's girlfriend. This is why theirs were left out of the main anime plot. Of course, I'm sure popularity had something to do with it, it always does.

This, no need to ruin this masterpiece by trying to make it a cash cow...

How about a spinoff series dedicated entirely to Kyou?

Ok, there's no use in discussing season 3 and sequel anymore cuz we won't see it anyway... and I also love to see other character life after graduation and also another ending thing, just like some people said
But how about some spin-off just like comedy parody (still connected to the very last story) or a prequel just like the VN past path... something or maybe a cross over? I dunno why, but I have this imagination about crossing Clannad with Angel Beats (still just as comedy parody) cuz Clannad said that there are a lot of another world out there and the character in Angel Beats are already reincarnated... Well somehow it's connected
