| Its one of those gems I keep going back to. From Kaoruko Ohtake, who as of today, has only worked on this anime. A lot of the time I find myself checking out an anime soundtrack and tossing 60% to 90% of the tunes away and only keeping a few, but with Bartender nearly every track is 5 star worthy. Lately I've been digging: Grasshopper, Sidecar, Red Eye, Million Dollar, Hemmingway's Daiquiri. If you'd just found a nameless CD with this soundtrack burned on it and decided to give it a listen, you'd never guess its from a show about a bartender. Although some tunes do really make you feel like you're in a smokey bar. Some of them feel emotional with lovely climaxes. Others are just plain sexy. Good night time music. |

| Can't believe I hadn't downloaded it until now, but yeah, wonderful soundtrack. The music was definitely the highlight of the show for me (not that the show itself was bad by any means; I just loved the music). |

| I bought the CD when the show aired. A quick trip to cdjapan.co.jp shows it is no longer available there. It is available used from third parties at Amazon, but it now costs over $100: https://www.amazon.com/Bartender-Various-Artists/dp/B000JBWXLY I always imagined Ootake noodling on the piano in a corner of Bar Eden Hall. I've watched this show so often by now that I no longer find Shiraki Yuuko's voice as weird as I did when I first heard her sing!
