To be honest I was not looking forward to this series, it looked like an anime I would not enjoy. BUT the first episode surprised me. I actually enjoyed it and find myself looking forward to next Sunday! Isanami does annoy me though. -__- Hopefully she will undergo some major character development. |

Well, it's pretty much your typical heroine meets girl, samurai showdown kind of anime. But, it wasn't all that bad I guess. Looking forward to the next! |

Wow, I was expecting something better than what I actually got. This is seriously one of the worst things I have ever watched. I mainly picked it up hoping that the fight scenes would be cool, but they felt static and very short. The characters aren't funny at all, but come off rather annoying. The music made my ears bleed, especially the ED. The art is at least decent, but it's not enough to save this.  |

The OP and ED is bad, what singing is that. I find the voicing sounds odd, it seems if Isanami voice abit louder than the rest? The voice audio mastering doesn't seems to blend very well with the environment for some characters. I love the character design and the animation. Some fight scenes seems abit cliche, too much talk too little action. The humour is also cliche, not funny at all. But i'll watch for the bishies. Hope the story turn up well. Maybe i had too high expectations for this.  |

Well, doesn't seem to be original or something like that. But the action was pretty fine and I'm looking forward to exactly more that. I already love Saizou. He reminds of Cloud Strife, in many ways. Opening and Ending are horrible, though. |

Bland characters and not really exciting fights. The animation was really good and the music was ok I guess. Kindof meh so far but we'll see if that will change at all. Supposedly Saizou stays to repay his debt since Isanami bought him noodles but that doesn't make any sense since he had already escorted her to that place like they agreed. I guess Saizou was too dumb to realize that he had already held up his end of the deal but whatever |

I was kind of skeptical of this anime to be kind of gay and stuff but turned out to be quite interesting. Hope it can reach Sengoku Basaras level. And Isanami was awfully pretty as well :3 |

Well, this got bishies. At least. Although I was expecting more bishies and less talking. Yes, bland characters, unexciting fights. Animation is great and character designs pretty cute. It's pretty. And that's it, unfortunately. As me being a OnoD fan, let me say that the OP was terrible. And I not going to talk about the ED. Isanami is hell annoying, but having Satou Rina and that gorgeous character design, maybe she will grow on me later on... god please. And, now that's scriptwriting for retards. Dialogues were pretty screwed up. Specially Saizou's lines. Btw, Hadena got a pretty good translation here. For a shrine maiden, she look kinda... bratty... Because of how Sarutobi and Saizo was depict in most medias, I was expecting Sarutobi to be more feral while Saizo to be more elegant and cool... Saizo seem more like an outlaw. The show is still not bad... though i'm not a fan of both OP and ED  |
