It was better than I expected.

Better then expected I guess.

Not much happened until the officer tried to arrest Marika at the cafe then all hell broke lose and Marika and Chiaki had to make a break for it, the real action will start next episode. Marika is pretty likable and Chiaki with her tall, dark, and bishoujo personality as well and my she has a bit of a weakness to sweets.

what an old style anime...

Happy with the First Episode of Moretsu Pirates, wonderful characters and great setting/situation/premise, bring on next weeks episode!

Not bad, but the opening is so annoying -_-

Considering the previous recent seasons this was very good for a first episode.

Decent. At least better than expected.
Not much happened so far, I'm looking forward to some action.

That was about 8x better than what I expected. In fact, I didn't even see any fanservice. (I saw miniskirt and expected some XD) It had a great introduction...

Anyways, that was great. I love that theres finally an anime (that I know of) that uses pirates (other than OP). The hairstyles are a little annoying, but I'm liking it so far.
Will watch! :D

i did not like the opening song but otherwise it was alright. i'll need to watch more.

Sums it up.

I loved the first ep.
Despite being called Miniskirt Pirates they neither went with fanservice nor moe.
Instead they delivered a straightforward sci-fi adventure story with a basic plot that could have worked in a traditional pirate setting as well.
I am very pleased.

This show was entertaining glad its trying to be something it's not. I love the high technology in the show.

So far one of the best new shows i saw so far this season.

I'm so damn glad they finally have a female lead character thats not annoying yet.

in fact, i can't tell anything certain, i'm going to wait for the next episode. this anime really has a potential, but it's easily can be transformed in something stupid

The animation was surprisingly good =O

The setting is actually very interesting

Seems ok so far. Somehow reminds me a lot of Sora Kake Shoujo.

So glad its licensed. I cant wait to get it. It went much better than I expected. All of the major characters are interesting, Ririka-san is an epic pirate whom better stay throughout the series, I hope, Kane McDougal brings me all the laughs, and Chiaki Kurihara is pretty cool. banana parfait scene was awesome. Graphics and animation were nice, and the theme song, though seemingly like a glorious mess was quite catchy. I loved it.

but this, lol.

It was alright but one thing that bugged me was when the gun fight broke out Chiaki and Marika just left Marika's coworkers all alone, but i bet the coworkers wont be dead next ep.
