Well now, who can honestly say they didn't see this coming? The script's not even completed, and it's already a fail. Nice. |

thank god - this is a disaster waiting to happen - what human in their right mind would try to remake the perfection of the original manga/anime in any form, especially live action??? |

I never look forward to live action adaptations of anime. More often than not my favourites get ruined. |

My brother and I are pleased to hear of this wonderful news. I cringe every time I see the mess of Dragon Ball that Hollywood adapted. |

Evangelion, Bebop, possibly Death Note (the American one)--heck, even Spike Lee's Oldboy has been delayed--and now, this. Doesn't surprise me in the least. |

Great, I don't have to stand the existence of an another shitty anime-live action film. Seriously, anime is so much easier to make and good looking "Justice Never Dies!" - Kenji Endou, 20th century Boys |

Exkalamity said: What the hell is "below-the-line talent" and why does the production of an live-action anime adaptation have to resort to such questionable resources? if you are not an actor, director, producer, or screenwriter, then you are below the line. i work on film sets here and there and yet i still don't understand why there is a separation of classes like this. still, this is pretty good news. i hope its cancelled. |

I get the feeling that it will come, but as a low-budged movie. :( No one famous apparently wants to do anything about it, since it's been "in production" so long, so they end up using B-movie directors and cast. |
