Yay~, it began again!!

OP song doesn't seem to suit the anime, but it's nice. The clip is interesting. Especially it shows little Natsume. ED by Kawano-san is cute for ballad.

Matoba is in this ep. So those group of suspicious youkai wanting Natsume's yuujinchou wants to protect the woods from Matoba. In the end Natsume was found out.

From the preview, it seems like Matoba heard their conversation about yuujinchou (about wanting to use humans with special power).

Already a cliffhanger, argh! This show is too awesome.

I loved the first episode! It's going to be so tough to wait until next Tuesday to find what happens!

I loved it! I like how they took the story from the manga and then changed it a bit. Ah, I cannot wait to find out what happens next. I missed Natsume so much!

OHGOD FINALLY! I was expecting a sweet, heartwarming ep but instead the new season started with such a fantastic, action-packed episode. Awesome.
Also, the OP is wonderful. I was smiling the entire time.

(What I'd really want to see though is Natsume summoning a youkai from the Book of Friends. That would be so cool.)

Yes, it began but the dates are screwed up again....from where I live Japan is 20 hours ahead...anyway, whatever...looking forward to more Madara and Natsume adventures!

It was simply AMAZING !
I really missed the warm feeling I get whenever I watch this series ..
Looking forward to next week episode .. I just can't wait ! ;_ ;

I am amazed by Natsume's powers of getting caught all the time and attracting strange men.

I'm pretty surprised they went with this for the first episode. I was expecting something 'softer' to ease viewers back in. Not that I'm complaining; I still find this show heartwarming and special even in the more action-filled episodes.

2012 starts with Natsume awesomeness.

Great first episode right off the bat! Amazing!

a really great opening episode to this anime to start the year with they did everything right in it
OP and ED was great and i taught that it did complement the anime

I didn't like the OP, but the visuals were great (little Natsume!).

A weird way to start off with Matoba and more dangerous youkai trying to get the Book of Friends. I was expecting a much more softer first episode, but meh. I liked how the episode balanced the darker moments with some light hearted ones (Nyanko used slap! It's super effective!)

I really liked the ED, it makes me feel warm and cozy (kinda awesome that the visuals match the season it' airing in.)

OP was a bit of a mixed bag. Song wasn't that good, the animation itself was. ED was pretty good. As for the episode, loved it. I think it was a really great way to start a new season. Not bogged down by a lot of back story and a good bit happened. Can't say I'm happy about starting off with a cliffhanger. Think the series was better when it was more episodic. Still, longer stories can be a good so it's fine.

Ooooh, how is this series just so beautiful and perfect? How does it manage to make me the happiest person alive for 20 minutes? ♥

The OP and ED sequence are gorgeous and so d'aaww. Not loving the songs as much, particularly the OP - too nasally for my taste.

I hope they don't skip around chapters like they did with San, but we'll see. Oh, it was wonderful seeing everyone again. <3

I'm so happy this is back!

I like how a serious plot has been established from the very start, aswell as the lovely mellow tone we're use to being put into place at the beginning too - proper story layout and a cliffhanger someone who isn't into the series could follow.

Finally! I was counting to that day and finally I was watched the first episode fourth season of Natsume Yuujinchou!
I had to see it even if I couldn't understand anything of it (to watch that episode in my native language I have to wait a bit [about three days] T^T)
Opening clip is AMAZING! *.* I love it! <3 I just can't wait to see the next episode :3
