:: GFX Signature ::  A GFX Signature is about Graphic Effects. So, usually you have a render/picture and you do the background according with what you think will suit better (brushes, contrast, patterns, textures, c4d's...). It's a combination of Graphic Design with Effects. The most used program for this stuff is Photoshop.  Rules: 1. Entries maximum dimension: 600x140 px; 2. Only one entry per user; 3. Entry must be your creation and a non-MAL/updatings signature; 4. Your entry needs to have the minimum requirements to be considered a gfx signature. This goes for: brushes, contrast, patterns, textures, c4d's, effects...; 5. You can't change your entry after it has been posted; 6. Use the posting format; 7. Any entry submitted after the deadline will not be counted for the nominations/voting round; 8. Keep the entries Anonymous! Or you'll be disqualified! This goes for typing your name into your entry or post your entry into your profile, for example. Theme: COLORFUL What does that mean? It means your signatures must have pretty bright colors, the more the better, everything else is up to you. Signatures with normal colors [like here] or signatures, where you have only one bright color [like here] won't do! Right choices for this theme would be something like these: Posting Format: - Signature: [ Your entry ] - Dimension: [ Dimension of your entry ] - Some words: [ Optional! You can say anything you want related to your entry ] - Original Image: [ If used more images ] :: Deadline - 10th of January 2012 at 23:00 GMT :: |

| It's a good theme but "colorful" is a bit vague description. I understand it means no monochrome or 1-2 color sigs or stuff that's photo filtered/gradient mapped to hell, but those examples are all (no offense to their makers) piles of color puke, well top one doesn't actually hurt my eyes but anyway. But whatever, i'll just submit something and see if it goes throughl, lol. |

| Then what do you want me to describe there? Usually I don't describe things much 'cause participants need to use their own heads when they see the theme. If you really don't know what's colorful and what's not then put rainbow in the background or something, orz. |
| Yes the description clear (in a way), but how different people see "colorful" is not. Themes such as "cat ears" or "christmas" are much clearer, there's not much else that need to be said. But "colorful" is subjective matter. Anyhow it's ok, theme is what it is now, no point arguing over it i guess. It's going to be fun seeing what people come up with. I just hope there's enough leeway in the theme to allow different points of view. |

| I don't see why you people are complaining about "colourful". It's just a signature that isn't plain on the use of colours which also means, that it's mostly very bright on colours. The reason why it's a subjective theme means that you have a lot more freedom than an objective theme. It's how you, yourself interpret it, but of course...there are some limits to things that aren't colourful. Besides, it can be anything as long as rainbows are included. I have to agree with vanRenN. There are many more entries when the theme is somewhat broad compared to something that's more specific. Either way, entry send. |

| I think the theme "colorful" works well too, and the example images explain it well too. A somewhat vague theme is good imo, because it gives the users more freedom in a way, and a bigger opportunity to fit the theme after their own style. |

| Heh, I actually like the theme being simply, 'colorful' - it kinda gives me that advantage to work on something with not so many limitations. Though like Sentress, I too wish to see the examples beforehand.. :0 Honestly, I'm kinda nervous, anybody else feeling this way? Hehe, anyway, going to send my entry tomorrow ~ *^*d |
