Listening to music and gazing at the beautiful countryside scenery when I'm in the train. Being up right before the sunrise to hear the birds singing as the darkness vanishes. The way my dog gets all excited when I'm back home. Hearing the call to prayer echoing in the distance. Waking up in the morning in a good enough mood to treat myself to a fancy breakfast. Getting a text message from someone I haven't heard from in a while just to ask how I've been. Old couples being all lovey-dovey. Cracking the crust of a crème brûlée. Random acts of kindness. The feeling of satin on my skin. Floating on my back in water. Fancy desserts. Fancy praline chocolates. A baby smiling at me. Being at a cozy place. The smell of coffee. Going for an early walk on a summer morning. |
