Welcome to the third art jam, I'll be your host this time for the theme of Technology. "Technology is a broad concept that deals with a species' usage and knowledge of tools and crafts, and how it affects a species' ability to control and adapt to its environment." Entries can be posted here or in the Art Jam Club itself, the Art Jam Club also has all the rules if you wish to participate. The deadline is August 30th, if there are any questions please contact me. Thank you~ * (Posted a little early due to the fact I'm leaving town for a few days with limited computer access). yep, started thinking about an idea for this jam a few days ago and I think I have it nailed down =),, now I only need the time to get it ready. Sadly though this might be the last one I do in a while because I noticed that I don't have a COM-port on my laptop so I won't be able to use my digipad when I start school again and move down to Denmark. |

I love how her hair is becoming musical things...and the style you drew it in is really good, I really like it :D selective_yellow said: wow, I stayed up and worked on this.. hahaha. Like, through human eyes all we see is our creations, while not seeing the beauty of the nature around us. Or I could be full of it...but at least it sounded good. XD |

Ok, so I made this during the day, hope that it "mystifies" your senses =). Sadly I think this will be the last image I do in a while because I can't use my digipad on my laptop,, so enjoy! Next image I make will be when I am back home in Sweden again and can use the stationary. |

Bringing back Elfen Lied memories! Very good! Schools just started here, so I won't have that much time anymore :( But I'll try to get something ready for each contest! |

Keep sketching while you're away, okay? <3 About the piece, you have a knack for detail, like the wires coming out and the ripped flesh =D very nice! drac said: ![]() here's the explanation: XDDDDDD I lol'd. Whenever someone says something to the effect of "I wish I lived in an earlier time" or like "Man I but it would have been cool to live during ancient Greece/Egypt" this is pretty much the first thing I think of as being the savior of civilization. Screw computers and stuff like that -- appreciate the lack of a poo-pit in your backyard! o.o Yeah, I did say poo-pit. This is definitely rushed and I made a lot of mistakes (I kept going to far on the wrong layer to just go back in the history...) but... yeah. It wasn't really supposed to be serious "art" anyway, lol. Commentary: Melancholy -- Really like how colorful this is! Kind of looks like grown up Darry from Gurren Lagann. You say it's lazy but sometimes lazy can produce awesome things :-p selective_yellow -- Whoa, makes me think of the Dennou coil specs o.o Creepy, with the city veiw when there's really grass beyond it. Cool idea. zirgo -- Agreed at the memories of Elfen Lied. Reminds me of Nana, especially. Poor thing, all beat up and still smiling. Also, cyborgs are just always cool. :-p devil Grah, I envy your ability to actually draw techy stuff. I half-failed at making a toilet and you'res had like wires and things x.x Awesome, hopefully real scorpians don't get inspired, eh? :-p drac AHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA. oh man not even physically possible, but lol. Nice. |
