Maybe it'll be about Yahiko now he's fairly grown up or Battousai in Bakamatsu. It'll certainly be interesting, I just hope Watsuki writing it. |

I seriously don't want this to be true. I love Rurouni Kenshin as it was. I'll go with the live action and OVAs, but I don't give a damn for a new RK unless it's a sequel. I just hope it has a good plot. |

I am not excited. RK is already a complete story. And if it was to focus around Yahiko or Kenshin's son, it would be boring, since they aren't interesting characters. |

I see what you guys mean; it is a complete story. But IF it's set before Kenshin's oath not to kill, in the Bakamatsu, it'd be interesting to see more of his Battousai side. I certainly hope it's not a milked extension to the series and fits in as if it was there originally. |

Perhaps it's just a rewrite (I guess?) or something, kinda like how they're redoing the HunterxHunter anime. Whether or not that's the case, I still have to read the original. ^^V |

First I got all excited, "Omg RK is back", but now that people are saying that it's a reboot, I don't know what to think. I'd rather read about Kenji or Yahiko, with Kenshin only giving advices and things like that, than reading another story about him that creates "holes" in the original story, or just a reboot. I'll read anyways, but when I first read the news I was expecting for something as epic as the original series. Now I don't know anymore. |

That took me by surprise. I will have to read as I'm a longterm fan of the manga, but I'm definitely skeptical. Check out our new Simul Watch CLUB and join if you're interested in watching stuff together with other people online to discuss about it in a more private and detailed matter than the episode discussion subforums can provide. Also the Custom Tags Club, if you like to customize your tags and don't want to wait until the MAL feature is fixed. Hope Jinchuu does come someday. As it was said that the new manga is actually a reboot, may it at least open the path to the reboot version of the anime. |
