Ben-To wasn't ranked in any of the daily charts and the pre-order numbers were quite underwhelming. Unless this gets a US license and it sells like crazy hear, I'm very doubtful of a 2nd season happening. |

| I'm not too sure if there's enough substance for a season 2 to be honest. IMO, the characters frankly didn't stand out too much and the plot is basic enough to get attention - new elements would have to be encorporate in order to justify more ep's about the same subject. I know a manga is running and I'm not sure of the content, but maybe, if the characters got some development and the set-up of 'the rookie becoming the master' (which was clear from the start) was challenged, then maybe. Still, I'd probably watch season 2. |

| Truthfully I don't really want to see a second season,not that I don't like the series, I just don't want to that nicely wrapped up ending go to waste. I would however like to see 2-3 ova's to wrap up the Ume story. I can already see her enter at the end of a battle Satou wins, knock him out and take the prize with a ''can I take this'' at the end. |

But I'm not about to boycott the creation of one. The whole show's concept was pretty quirky and original, so maybe they could continue with something unexpected. |

| While it might be fun to see a little more of this absurdity, I'm not convinced that a second season is needed. In recent anime, I like how the creators don't usually beat concepts to death; they create a concise and compact series, and then they move on to something else. Some concepts can hold their own for more episodes than others. Unless the creators of Ben-To bring in some fantastic new ideas, I think the idea has largely run its course, and it was tied up nicely in the final episode. If the series were to be resurrected, there would be a risk of creating just more of the same, and it would rapidly become as stale as a bento that has been left on the shelf for days. If more episodes appear, I'll probably check them out, but I won't have high expectations. |
