| Okay episode, still better than most of the episodes this season. I did like how Chizuru's last line wraps up the series. I wonder why they held back on the secret character, must have forgotten to insert code in the starting screen. She might have been the charm this season lacked, or maybe not. | I liked the appearence of Tako Musume. Just like at the end of the first season, she indirectly ensured the continuation of Ika Musume's invasion, which -as is clear by now- is an emotional invation rather than a militant one. She might be some sort of watchful protector from the sea. Or maybe even an analogy for friendship or memories or something. Though I don't suppose it's that deep (see what I did there) a series. |
| Chizuru's opened-eyes again is auto-WIN! :D Second segment. I've seen the same storyline many times but still good. Now who was that blond girl that appeared suddenly? A hint for another season? Overall, the prequel still did better but second season has its own moments. I'd still welcome another season to this -de geso. |

On the side note, i really liked how tako girl made her appearance at the end of the episode like how she did last season again. I think she's a potential good character, but too bad that she gets no screen time. I actually like that character alot. |

| As much as I like season 2 it doesn't quite live up to the charm season 1 had but nevertheless good watch. 8/10 from me As for a season 3, my body is ready. |

| Ika-chan in a yukata is so cute!!! This episode has more depth than normal Squid Girl stories. I love how Chizuru said "maybe she invaded us a long time ago", she already invaded their hearts, awwww And more of Mystery Lady, I wonder if she's Ika-chan's guardian angel or something? I want to see more backstory (like where Ika-chan came from etc) if there's a season 3. lol@the ending credit images. I like the shot of Sanae trying to take pictures of Ika-chan, and the weird Squid head scaring the kids, and that random foreign guy who asked Eiko for directions showed up too :D |

| Good Final episode,Ika in Yukata soooo cute First Part was good specially the Zombie Invasion was lol poor Ika Chan. Second Part was more serious that usual but was very good and hearth warming specially the last scene also we saw Tako Chan again i really want to know more about her. As a whole the season wasnt bad the comedy was good,the cuteness of Ika chan was kept but the 1st one had was funnier and had more charm but still it i give a 8/10 as it keep me entertained and Ika chan is lovely. I be happy to see a 3rd season...we need more Ika Musume!! |
| That first gag about training to invade was superb! I'm very tempted to give this a 9 just because of how witty and how well-delivered its gags are (Episode 4 up) but it is also quite noticeable that not all of its gags are effective and some felt like it was done before (Episode 1 and 2). I'm giving this an 8, but what a strong 8 that is - almost a 9. Ika Musume excels at what it wants to be, a very fun light-hearted funny comedy and it needs to hold onto that as not all anime can accomplish such a feat. Truly this anime deserves more attention. As most people here have already said, this show definitely needs another season. |

| I was wondering who that mysterious girl was but thanks to the forums I know her name. Anyway this ending was alright to me. This season had def good moments one of them for me was the early morning workout session that ika musume liked. Hoping for a third season with more bang as the 1st season. Overall 7/10 for me and I liked the ending theme song for this season. |

| While some things don't require a third season, Shinryaku! Ika-Musume is one big exception. Especially if they still have things from the manga left undone. |

| I do like my gag anime, and enjoyed this series. If the manga keeps selling then I guess we'll have material for more anime. If this anime was in any way successful, then I guess we'll have more! People like making money after all! |

| I agree with everyone who said that this season was lacking the charm of the first. Perhaps the glut of side characters detracted from the comedy. 7/10. Needs more mini-ika musume. OVAs please. |

| Wait a minute... Didn't suddenly a mysterious character appear at the end of the last episode of season 1? Now suddenly she appears again! Even two times! Season three needed. This time it was actually 1/3 of the ep a random part and 2/3 of the ep a sort of conclusion, the festival part was done really good. But I'm seriously sad now that it's over again, this is really the kind of show I need lately to get me happy. I loved this show. |

It had it's good moments but it really wasn't as good as the first season and even got boring at times. |

| Didn't like seeing Eiko and Ika fight all the time! Glad they made up in the end. Overall a very funny show on par with the first season. Therefore I'll give it the same score; 8/10. |

| I found the last couple of episodes to be the strongest of this season's run. The first season had the novelty of the underlying concept as a strength. Now that she is getting more accustomed to life on land there has to be a bit more work on the writing to get the same laughs. I think it's got at least one more season in it though, particularly if we get a little more Chizuru x Goro action... |

| I didn't really like the drama aspect of this last episode, but I loved seeing Tako Musume again... 4/5. I give this season an 8/10 too. The middle wasn't as entertaining as the first season, but it picked up during the end. I would not mind a new season. |
