whoa, sometime here Light got a LOT of votes. I think more ppl like Light better but not enough to fave him. those who like L though, really like L lol. |

I just wrote a short story where one of the main characters is based on L. lol I like both characters, I think they both have their strengths and interesting points, but I love the way L is so deceptively ruthless. You forget when you watch the anime or read the manga that he's not just some goofy guy who sits around in his bare feet and eats sugar cubes all day - sure, it's cute and whatever, but it goes deeper than that. He's also more than willing to sacrifice people to get his job done and as we've seen time and time again torture is not something he skirts around. It makes him so much more interesting that a character (like Light's dad) who wants to solve the case but wants to do it the "right" way. LOVE IT.      |

I'm all on L's side. I had somewhat appreciation for Light's actions in the first few episodes, but now he is only greedy for power. |
