So in the first episodes they skipped threw Gon meeting one of the most important persons in his life but now they have time showing them to us playing pillow-fight and sleep while waiting in that room. The guys choosing how do distribute events and time in this anime must be retarded. |

I liked it. SOOOOOO many people are weabooing it but this was acctually a good way to show us what was going on during the 50 hours. yes it was filler, but it was good filler, plus it was only for the first half of the episode. the other half was nice, it was a awesome way to put in some action and hint at gon's Idea of busting through the wall. this is arguably my favorite episode of the series sofar. It wouldn't fit, no time. and this episode focused on them finishing trick tower, gon's past would've been completely irrelevant, the best time to show it is in phase 4 after getting KO'd by you know who :) Signature removed. Fillers can be OK if done right... but these filler parts were horrible. The joke about Tompa's discusting feet was used to many times, and not even funny in my opinion. What was the point about Leorio feeling guilty about failing if he did nothing about it in the end? And the pillow fight don't deserve to be called one seeing how they just threw the same pillow back and forth... also, did anyone else think it was stupid that all five of them were hacking away on the wall at the same time? So unstrategic. I dislike saying ʺthe original did it betterʺ, but for this episode, it's just true...imo. Modified by NostalgiaGeek, 12-25-11, 1:27 AM  |

I think they made him worse in this remake. >_< definitely agree with you, one of my fav things in this show is the friendship between them 2. as for tonpa i dont think they made him worse here. compared to the original, this one is nothing. maybe its just that initial hatred of him we had that got brought up again after seeing him, kinda like how kuripika gets all pissed off if he sees a spider.      |

What. The fuck. Madhouse wasted half the episode on the team doing nothing, and then the rest of Trick Tower was really rushed, they should have expanded on it. First time I'm really disappointed. But heh, it's just one episode. |

I love how innovative Gon is during the path part. The first half dragged a bit with everyone in the room for so long though.  |

Cool episode. Nice to see how they spent they're 50 hours, didn't see that in the manga. Pillow fight was adorable. Hahaa. It did take half the episode though. :| The wall breaking nice, followed the manga closely. All in all, good episode. |

Yeah, I really like how Gon and Killua have been portrayed in this version. They just hit it off and it was cool to see the pillow fight and so on, they are so chill throughout all of this. I did not like Gon in the first anime but I'm liking him here for some reason. No idea why I think differently of him now. She said, "Don't make others suffer for your personal hatred." |

funniest moment: leorio and newbkiller doing a 69 stink bomb bromanciest moment: killua being like im planning for me and gon to be 2 of the 3 ofc liking leorio is a tiring rollercoaster. right now i dont. |
