According to Kadokawa Shoten, Ogiwara Noriko's novel "Red Data Girl" was announced to get an anime adaptation.

Story:
A modern fantasy based on Japanese Shinto legends. Suzuhara Izumiko is a 15-year-old girl, who has been raised and protected in a shrine deep in the Kumano mountains. She is quite shy and destroys all the electric devices she touches. When she begins to think about going out of the mountains and moving to the city, her guardian Sagara Yukimasa recommends her to enter a high school in Tokyo and forces his son Miyuki to serve Izumiko for life. Miyuki and Izumiko repel each other but their relationship begins to change when a terrifying accident occurs on the school excursion. Izumiko learns her fate as the last representative (yorishiro) of a Himegami goddess and Miyuki learns of his duty as a guardian Yamabushi of Izumiko.

Sounds interesting indeed. I'm interested to learn if that includes love between Miyuki and Izumiko (servant x master).

Sonds kind of like Serial Experiments Lain and Zettai Shounen, and I like the one character design shown in the PV, so I will check it out.

I may bail out if the romance is poorly done and focuses too much on it, though. I'm in it for the fantasy/mystery aspects.

The art looks seinen-esque. Although her guardian forcing his son to serve Izumiko for life does not sound enlightening, at all.

Saw the PV, and I got to say that I really like the atmosphere and tone set by the music in the PV. The character design is a little off-putting; yes it's not super MOE MOE KYUN but the style in general seems unsuitable for an animation. It looks like it was painstakingly done with paint and brush, so trying to animate that will be....weird.

Sounds interesting. I couldn't understand what was in the PV, but if they've got that music in the anime, I'll definetly watch this.

Hmmm, from the synopsis alone this is shaping up to be something I'll enjoy. I will so totally watch this.
