According to the official website, Shinkai Makoto has produced a TV ad for Japanese construction company Taisei Corp. It's about a woman who works for the Marmaray project. Actress Kurokawa Mei plays the woman. Bosphorus strait undersea tunnel project Shinkai produced another TV ad for the same company in 2008. The fact that he's animating real world locations makes me wish the world is as colorful as he portrays it to be. TL Notes: Some information are worth more than a simple note from the translator. |

i was more inclined to think he was making an anime rather than supporting a tunnel project no one likes half a world away... but money is money i guess "Forged in darkness with wheat harvested from Hell's half acre.
