| While I figured it would be a much more typical shounen story I have to give Ohba credit for being able to take a pretty dull concept and make it interesting. Plus I think the well done interior monologue helps endear me to the characters much quicker than in other manga. Overall I'm quite excited to see where this will go. |

| This was a great first chapter. The Art was pretty neat, the characters are funny and interesting . I instantly fell in love with Azuki and her dream of becoming a Seiyuu. Her story is going to be really exciting and her character design is <3. |
| Haha, the genre is so different from Death Note. It's so freaking good though. I loved page 51-53. Their expression was so priceless, I couldn't stop laughing. |
| To think that this was from the same people who create Death Note... I rearly ever read manga because i find them quite boring. But this is an exception! This was awesome and it made me laugh quite alot. I'm definitely going to continue reading this manga. And i can't wait for the anime! P.S. Have you noticed that in both death note and bakuman that in both the series both the main characters are the top scoring students in japan. Just FYI ^_^ |

| This manga really has become my favorite manga. I mean, some people might think there's not enough action but that's exactly why I love it. I really liked Death Note too, but I'm kinda glad this manga was less dark. Plus, it's a manga that talks about manga; it might help me make the doujinshi I always dreamed of doing :D |

| I like all the self-parodies in the first chapter ^^ Like "This isn't a Death Note, huh?" :D Takagi is somewhat funny, even though I thought he was as stiff and serious as Light, but he's really cool. I totally continue reading :P |

| I really enjoyed the first chapter so far-I wouldn't say it was love at first sight for me, but I'm definitely looking forward to the next chapter. I could see light superficial similarities to Death Note-super-smart kid is bored with the monotonies of life, but their life totally changes all because of a single notebook. However, the athmosphere is completely different in those two. Instead of the deaths we had in Death Note, in Bakuman we have creating. I'm also looking forward to how Ohba handles the romance, considering in Death Note it was one-sided and/or nonexistent. And of course, art is top-notch as always, as expected of Obata. :D |
| Awesome manga!! I loved it!! Excellent first chapter and kudos to Ohba for the well done interior monologue!! That's a fantastic way to know better the characters and I love it because I feel more close to that characters, all of they looks too real and that's amazing Looks very very promising!! It can becomes in my next favorite manga so I will expecting too excited the next chapters!! Weekly and the next will have 31 pages? Yes please!! And the references was all hilarious!!! I hope they keep that awesome level all the series! Waiting the next *_* Kouta~ |

| The basic concept of Comic Party from the guys who brought us Death Note? ... Wicked cool. This was a great first chapter. The characters are instantly likeable, the art is gorgeous, the dialogue is funny, the praise keeps going. I am definitely gonna keep up with this series! This better get a high approval rating in WSJ, or so help me... |
