seems like it serves as a taster to a manga, doesn't really function as a stand-alone story though I was curious to learn more about her situation. The story was told pretty well (excepting when it went totally abstract for that fight scene). Something about it reminded me more of Aeon Flux / old graphic novels than manganime. Ohh, this was the guy who did Iria: Zeriam (Keita Amemiya)? He talked of his fondness for western sci-fi like Alien/Predator/Terminator before, he comes up with some pretty unique designs though. Actually the plot of this is strikingly similar to his original pre-Iria concept for the Zeiram live action film (man lands in an alien computer game and battles with alien monster). Except our character here is both Iria and the confused earthling in one (crossed with an unsolved Aeon Flux-esque "wtf is the context of the larger plot"). There's even a disembodied Bob character.
