More changes from episode 3
http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-VX-Nw7_Ws6A/Tw20LYLPOjI/AAAAAAABxRY/EOXBqCQOHQw/s1600/11111.jpg

I think these first three episodes have had more revamped animation than the first Special Edition movie in its entirety (if not, it surely will after episodes 4 and 5)

What's the difference other than graphics being redone and newer animations?
I just watched 1 and 2 episodes and figured the plot's all the same as the original run about a decade ago? The opening & ending theme are same as well as the sceneries only having been retouched.

Also, I don't think the voices were redone. You know what I mean? It's a wonder if they didn't pay the seiyuus for the remaster version lol.

Wow, I thought changes would be minimal but seeing shadows pictures they changed quite a lot. I would love to see a new entry.

If they decide to change it so that Mu doesn't die and link this new version to Destiny then a new entry will definitely be needed.

SEED is currently being rereleased after a HD remastering project in honor if its 10th anniversary, some scenes are redrawn, effects such as beam weapon shots touched up for larger TV's (previously would be a couple of bars of solid color now have extra fine details and graduated color changes across the beam), some scenes are cropped for widescreen while others (like computer console displays of text or graphics) have extra detail added to the sides (such as the edges of the console itself) to make them into widescreen aspect without the console content loss which would occur from cropping.

If anyone can get a page made, here's a main picture for you to use (taken from the official SEED site):
http://img685.imageshack.us/img685/9035/mainphoto2.jpg

Also of note: Besides the new animation screens I've showed you, some of the animation made for the Special Edition movies have been incorporated into the episodes.

And for OP/ED:

OP1: "INVOKE" by T.M. Revolution (eps 1- )
ED1: "Anna ni Issho Datta no ni ~ReTracks" by See-Saw (eps 1 - )

I had already tried to submit the page twice, and was rejected both times. But with 4 (actually, now 5) episodes released, we can clearly see that this needs a new entry, I hope someone else has better luck getting it up than me ^^;

just got done re watching seed a couple days ago, and there really isn't anything wrong with the dvd version, certainly not worth waiting a year to be able to watch it either. It looks to me like they are just doing the minimal required to call it a remastered so they can sell it for more money.

Also I'd rather not watch a show where they crop off half the stuff.

But anyway, i don't see why it should deserve a new page, its the same exact story everything is playing out the exact same.

A complete remake of Destiny would be nice too after this.

Destiny was totally useless as it didn't bring anything new. I don't think we want a Destiny. Seed as it is should have ended right there.
bla bla bla
The endless debate between fans and haters. At one point, after spending a lot of time on MAL, you just realize it's totally pointless.

Oh hey, lookie there...first it was in the eyecatch, now lineart for it is out...

If this actually shows up in an episode of the HD Remaster, I believe that will make this different enough to distinguish it from the original and get a new entry?

EDIT: Anyone interested in the full version of "Anna ni issho datta no ni ~ReTracks"?

I thought it would just be an upscale to 720p but it looks like Sunrise really did reanimate a lot. I almost died of laughter when I saw the comparisons for Athrun and Kira in some scenes, never realized they were that badly animated.

But realistically, everything just looks like it's animated like Destiny.

Each BD boxset will feature 12 episodes. After reediting, the series will run a total of 48 episodes. Looks like it really needs a separate page.

Got a source for this? If so, how shall we bring this to the attention of the mods or whoever controls what pages are approved?

EDIT: New site image

There were two recap episodes in this series and since this is a remake they will take those out. Leaving the series with 48 episodes. So I don't think there needs to be a new page.

The point is that the episode count will be different. Not to mention all the new animations, ect. It needs its own page, if you ask me.

I think it'd be wise to wait and see how much is changed before deciding anything.

Just pull the trigger...
