Hey y'all. Just started watching DBZ, got to like episode 5 and decided to discuss episode. AND IT HAPPENED. The discussion was going about the death of Raditz which is nothing what I saw in the episode! I checked the first episode from the site I'm watcing from 1)http://www.dbz.tv/watch-dragonball-z-episodes-dubbed-online/ and the site I usually used to watch anime from 2) http://www.animefreak.tv/watch/dragon-ball-z-episode-1-english-dubbed-online-free GODDAMN MAN, THEY'RE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT Then, I went on to imdb and noticed the titles of the episodes are different from the ones that I see on DBZ.tv.. Somewhere around episode 10 they start to match. Which one of these options should I stick to and wth is going on? |

There's the original Dragonball Z and there's the remake called Dragonball Kai. I'd just stick with the remake, Kai. It removes all the un-needed episodes from the original; the pointless episodes and sticks with the main story. |

I'm not 100% sure but you're probably confusing between DBZ and DB Kai which is a remake of the original anime. |

So I didn't really get an answer. Which site actually has ORIGINAL series instead of the remakes? Thanks for the answers so far. :) |

dbz.tv is the censored one animefreak.tv is the uncut one, wich is highly better to watch, if you don't want to watch the japanese version |

Quoth Wikipedia: the anime adaptation premiered in Japan on Fuji Television on April 26, 1989, taking over its predecessor's time slot, and ran until its conclusion on January 31, 1996, lasting 291 episodes in Japan, and 276 episodes in the United States originally, although all 291 episodes were later broadcast when content from the first 67 episodes was restored. So, there's the original, the first dub, and the second dub (sort of, first+missing 67). And Kai, but I guess you wouldn't mistake that for Z. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Dragon_Ball_Z_episodes#Season_1:_Saiyan_Saga for episode numbering. Or just watch Kai. The only decent part after Cell is the tournament and then things take a embarassing (even in DBZ terms) nosedive. |
