Can't blame ya though. Right at the start of the episode, ufotable already has us appreciating Rin's thigh highs even as a little girl.

A filler type episode indeed, doesn't need to be here, but it's okay that it is, because it's one of the better kinds of filler. It ties in with the main events, that being the child abductions. And it's about Rin, who becomes one the main characters later on of course. Plus it's just nice to see that many of the kids were spared gruesome deaths thanks to her. How she was able to beat Ryuunsoke though, I have no f*cking idea.

Quite a strange episode. I have no idea why it exists nor what purpose it serves. Ik Rin is an important fate character and all, but this episode had very little impact overall for the time being. I suppose Rin could play a role in the war later, so I'll take it as that.

As a father it was hard to watch this and any Caster and his lunatic "master" centric episodes.

The entire Caster/lunatic master boy duo was a very hard thing to watch.

I know, I know it is only "fiction" "it is not real" well .... It is real, there are ppl out there that would make Caster/the master look like Saints. Trust me, I know. I survived hell on earth, I know.

Unnecessary...... I love Rin but this episode was useless. Also, she's clearly like 8 years old, and they did an upskirt flash. Like really? I even seen some guy in the comments saying he wanted to "mating press" her. I hate the anime community.
Anyway, the episode was ok, not bad but if it didn't exist the show would be the same.
(aww, tokiyomi has a paternal side)

Chimaw, I don't mind Rin's screentime cause she's a best girl candidate especially when she saves bunch of peeps from psycho Ryuunosuke.
