for me it was Ranma1/2
It was the first manga I really got into, way back when I was a freshmen in highschool. And yet I STILL haven't been able to finish it yet XD oh well, I'm still making gradual progress.
Hmm... I think it was MeruPuri. The other choices are +Anima, 07 Ghosts and Pochimon. You see this was 3 years ago so I can't remember correctly but these are one of the few translated in my language so it must be some of them~
My intro to manga was pretty common...I caught up with the Naruto anime. But, the first pure manga I ever read, and the one which got me in to reading other manga's just for the sake of reading manga's was 20th Century Boys, I think.
My first manga that rly got me hooked was the first complete manga that i've bought and it was Death Note in December 2009 ... the very first manga that i've read was Goth ^^ think it was in 2008 ... not quite common to start with Goth i think but it was rly good xD
My friend and I wee bored one day at lunch so we went to the library and saw my friend looking at some books so we sat down at her table. My friend I went there with was looking thhrouth the pages of the first volume. He saw the part when Kyo and Yuki fight and I started reading it. So yeah I then read all the volumes and LOVED It!!! Without that awesome visit to the library I'd be normal and not have random crazy spasms in class.
Used to only watch anime & shrugged off the "Manga > Anime" comments. Then I read it out of boredom & found it to be a completely different & better story than the sorry excuse of an anime.
What individual believes that their words are like chains? That they are capable of holding or binding me down, none?! Who can say that they wield the power to do so; their actions are to simple and will do nothing. - Unrated_Toxicity
First manga that got me hooked was good ol' Rurouni Kenshin, my favorite manga. I remember back in 03 when I bought the first volume and read the whole thing within 40 minutes or so...good times. @theSpecial1 Wow you read the Jinchuu arc in 3 days!? Thats impressive.
