I can't remember if it was my first manga or not, but after I finished Elfen Lied, I was hooked and couldn't get enough manga/anime. Later on, I discovered it was impossible to read/watch as much as I wanted to, for there isn't enough time in the day. Not to mention how sleep can get in the way! =P

The first manga that actually made me wanna read manga was Shigeshoushi.
In its own way, sometimes twisted, answers different aspects of human behaviour and feelings.
it also shows things we might want to forget or erase from our past but eventually these are the ones which have made us who we are today-dead or alive.

If my memory serves me right, I believe it would be "Absolute Boyfriend".
Afterwards, I kept reading every shoujo manga in OneManga.

Then I got bored and moved on with shonen, and got hooked up with Naruto.

Hmm... I think it was MeruPuri. The other choices are +Anima, 07 Ghosts and Pochimon. You see this was 3 years ago so I can't remember correctly but these are one of the few translated in my language so it must be some of them~

Mine was Fairy Tail. It made me realize that manga might be worth reading, even if the story is cliched and the fights don't make sense.

I don't know if I should be embarrassed or not but it was Demon Diary. After a few reads I can say it's honestly not that great but still an enjoyable read.

Omg that's one of my favorites. Though I haven't been able to find any volumes of it recently.

My first manga was Tokyo Mew Mew. As girly and as childish as it is, to me, when I was in middle school, it was new, interesting, and a work of art.

My intro to manga was pretty common...I caught up with the Naruto anime. But, the first pure manga I ever read, and the one which got me in to reading other manga's just for the sake of reading manga's was 20th Century Boys, I think.

My first manga was Trigun.

One day back in Sophomore year I noticed a buddy of mine reading it, I asked him what it was and he wound up lending it to me.

Fruits Basket.
My friend and I wee bored one day at lunch so we went to the library and saw my friend looking at some books so we sat down at her table. My friend I went there with was looking thhrouth the pages of the first volume. He saw the part when Kyo and Yuki fight and I started reading it. So yeah I then read all the volumes and LOVED It!!! Without that awesome visit to the library I'd be normal and not have random crazy spasms in class.
