According to their official website, Kyoto Animation has announced a new TV anime "Hyouka". It is based on the mystery light novel "Kotenbu series" first published in 2001. Hyouka anime official website Update: To be aired from April. Staff Director: Takemoto Yasuhiro Series Composition: Gatoh Shoji Character Design: Nishiya Futoshi Music: Tanaka Kohei Synopsis: Oriki Hotaro is a high school boy, who always acts passively. One day, he enters "Koten Bu (Classic Literature Club)" as recommended by his elder sister. There he meets Chitanda Eru, Fukube Satoshi, and Ibara Mayaka. Chitanda is a calm beautiful girl but she turns into an embodiment of curiosity once she says, "I'm interested in it (Watashi, Kininarimasu)". Fubube is a smiling boy who excels in memory, but he never constructs his own deduction. Ibara is a short girl and is strict with others and herself. She loves Fubube, but he always dodges her approach. They begin to investigate a case that occurred 33 years ago. Hints of the mystery is buried in an old collection of works of the former members of Koten Club. The collection is titled "Hyouka". YES! YES! YES! KyoAni never cease to entertain me! Kanon 2006, Lucky Star, Haruhi Suzumiya, K-On, Air, you name them! *breathes* Since it's a mystery I hope it'll bring back the gorgeous art from Either Haruhi 2006 or Clannad. |

I'll look into it i guess... still bummed out that kyoani didn't do Little Busters! oh there's always next year....T.T At least ill be done with the routes by then...   |

Hmm... Sounds like a different approach for them - but I will watch it nonetheless. I've enjoyed every piece of work they've done so far. Lets hope it's the same with Hyouka. Take his BED. |
