yessss. this episode was great! btw if you read the manga, you would know that maka and soul actually dance ;)
the next episode looks amazing! i think the opening sequence is basically based on the next episode so I'm expecting some awesome fight scenes.

OFG! The real battle starts now, love the BGM of the last scene. Damn! I'm getting excited for the upcoming fights. Bring on the Maka & Chrona fight!

Yeah I remember that from episode 1 during the Black Star introduction. Pretty good music for the insane situation they are about to go into. The three teams and Stein versus those witches and Chrona. Too bad Maka's Dad didn't fall in as well since it leaves Stein weaponless. Though he's still extremely strong by himself. Should be great to see the coming episodes.

LOL! Actually, Spirit was there too (this is not a spoiler, look at the preview of Epi 18 =3) Oh, didn't noticed it was the same BG from the Black Star introductory, I'm dying to listen to the OST XD

Thought he just picked something up. Since I didn't see him go down there with the rest of them. Kind of lost track when Sid arrived. The 8 ran over and eventually were dropped on down. Didn't see Spirit after that point and he didn't land with them. Are we saying he jumped out a window or something after Medusa :)? From the preview it looked pretty similar but odd that the blade portion wouldn't be present. Will just wait and see I guess for episode 19. Which would have aired the other day if that Excalibur episode hadn't existed!

Finally..from here on out the real plot comes into the story...gonna be so awesome!!!

Dude... they just destroyed the symmetry of Death City! That was an awesome city!
Sad that Sid seems to have died (again).

In other news, the story just turned awesome... I actually just bumped its rating up to a "10" because it looks to be going in awesome directions. Let's hope it keeps doing so.

Another great ep. A lot of development and the beggining of the new arc. I really enjoyed the idea of party ;). The next ep looks really amazing, cant wait for it.



Call me retarded but i espacially checked the chapter of manga (it was chapter 15) and i didnt saw them dancing... The ep started just the way the chapter did, nothing new in the middle, also the ending of ep and chapter was the same. Maybe u meant one of previous or future chaps?

They'd want to have Shinigami-sama get out and show us some awesome Shinigami chop action.

Really good episode! I'm glad that the story has finally picked up.
For a moment I thought Stein would actually join Medusa ^^;

man, the Stein/Medusa interaction was just as awesome as I hoped it to be, although a bit short.

AHHHH NOOO it was a buildup episode T-T

i think i'm gonna have to rewatch this before tackling the next episode

Hmm average episode as usual. It should have been a very dramatic/climactic episode and it's just dull, badly directed and some characters are as annoying as ever. I don't even speak of the script, which is a pure joke. I don't understand why I still watch this shonen, even Naruto is better (and God knows how I don't like Naruto...). Still I'm attracted to SE's art, and I'd like to know if there's a real plot at some point or if it remains pointless till the end, so...

Great episode. And it was really just a set-up for the next big battle which made it even more impressive. Tsubaki and Maka really spiff up nice too. Maka xtra-cute and Tsubaki xtra-boobage. They really went the other way with Liz and Patty though - they looked like they were wearing track suits. I loved the look that Medusa gave Stein when she knew her cover was blown. Also, when Sid came into the dance and they cut to Black Star. The look he had with a mouth full of food and the drumstick in his hand was hilarious to me. Looked like something from The Simpsons.

I lol'd with Black Star falling through to the bottom floor, only ending up with 2 drumsticks in his hands.

Great episode. It's getting better and better.

BTW: I liked Maka's hairstyle. <3
