| Rejoice, HxH's TV rating has risen from 4.1 to 5% and he has climbed to the 8th position. I guess, that if the staff manages to maintain it, then the Chimera Ant Arc will certainly be animated. |

| What I love about this show is how what appears to be a stupid decision can be explained away as brilliant. Case in point: Tonpa's decision to immediately forfeit his match. What would have been a lame, painful ending for everybody. Not much to say this episode either. I'm just looking forward to Gon flashing more of his brilliance and seeing Killua kill his opponent. It really is awesome. Literally.  |

| So, those two from the previous episode were confirmed dead/missing now. That erased a lot of my fears, I don't mind toned down violence as long as the most important consequences and implications of character defining events like that aren't completely changed. This is plenty brutal as it is even without blood, and not just for a Sunday morning cartoon. I don't really mind Tonpa, it's not like he gets in the way that much. He's unlikeable and unconvincing but providing some rage and laughs and a couple of pieces of information about the exam and examinees are all he's there for. |

| Tonpa's shenanigans are finally revealed, he's a pretty sick bastard to take pleasure in others' failures but it's hard to believe he's in his 40s or older, he looks like a chubby otaku fresh out of high school. Things are heating up, I wonder if the majority vote thing will play a role in their battles. |

Now the real exam finally begins, this is when things get really interesting. Time to see togashi''s intelligent mind to work. The Trick tower! I love how in this series, everything is based on observational skills and working as a team to try and come out on top. Alot of these same strategic skills are used later on in the real world when they actually get into these types of encounters also. |

| I almost thought Tonpa was going to fight. xD Man, of all the people for them to wind up with. At least his neck didn't get crushed, like Kurapika mentioned. I'm curious to see how Gon's fight will go... and unlike some other people here, I'd rather not see unneeded killing, so perhaps it'd be better if Killua didn't fight next episode. Speaking of which, the people here seem to have a bad habit of talking about the next episode in the previous episode's topic. I may have to stop reading the comments at this rate. x.x |

| That fucking Tompa, it was obvious he would pull out something like that xD I found it kinda hilairous that the first criminal had 199 years of prison. Even if he reduce it by 72 years, it will still be 127 years, which mean he would just die in prison. It's true though that if he were to participate again, he could have 144 years off his sentence. But somehow, I feel like they only choose the prisoners who have no chance to get out of the prison alive, if they were to able resist for 72 hours. |

| lol honestly Tonpa unwittingly made the best strategical decision: to pit the examinees' weakest fighters against the prisoners' seemingly strong fighters, lose/resign quickly, and save as much time as possible. Good job to Tonpa for being an idiotic ass. I was actually expecting him to draw out the inevitable loss for as long as possible (tho considering the power difference I guess that strategy wouldn't have worked for long anyways), so his actions actually gave the team a better chance of winning lol |

| With the notion that Trick Tower was the 3rd phase already, I had assumed that the exams are nearing its end but Kurapika's guess that they're only halfway there made me excited! Tonpa might've been a massive setback for the team but him making the right call by immediately surrendering definitely stopped things from getting a lot worse for them all. |
