Despite, Tomino being more famous for the MS Gundam series. I actually loved Heavy Metal L-Gaim more than many of the Gundam series. Well, it's hard to say whether I like it more than 0079 or Zeta Gundam. But, it has lots of fascinating characters. Lots of double-crossing and intrigue. Romance as well. Not to mention great battles of course. It's just a really fun story and great anime series!

And, I just love the dramatic music and words at the end of many episodes. That's the part where they feature what is upcoming in the next episode. It's much shorter than your usual preview but very effective.

I just wish the whole series was subbed (Shin Getter is good, but slooooooooooow) and I definitely don't want to watch the HK subbed videos.

erm i was actually looking for that anime series.... nowhere to be found... can u guys help me find it perhaps?

Currently watching L Gaim right now. Very good stuff so far. Very 80s...I like it a lot!

Speaking of the series itself. Almost everything Tomino does is a win for me, but sometimes I get turned off by the comedy parts of Heavy Metal L-Gaim. Those girls arguing tend to become stupid.

I been enjoying it I have 1-18 but after that all I seem to find are dead torrents.
