Kizuna shrugged. She didn't know what caused her to be kicked out of the room though she was feeling the effects of the battle earlier. Maybe summoning her blade was taking a toll on her but she doubt that. So what was it?

"I don't really know", she said, more like a reply to herself that to the one who asked.

Kurosei Xethres

"Thanks...", Xethres replied to the blind boy.
Not wanting to stay in the lounge any longer, he decided to leave.
The thing he would really want now was to get some rest...
Going up the stairs, he headed for his room.

Ning

"Guess I aren't really welcoming" Ning shrugged, not taking offence. Staring at Kizuna and moving foward till there was only a step distance between them, he asked "Think its possible for us to enter again?"

Smilling he was pretty sure that the girl was thinking what a crazy idea he has.

Aoi listened as the boy gave his answer though she was quite distracted that time. She can't shake the feeling that there was something earlier, though she treated it as just her imagination.

"Well, you can't say that your previous school was the same as this one when you've only just begun. You might pick that school over this one or might love this school over that one. As for me..."

Just then a number of students was sent out from the adjacent room. Aoi turned her head to see them on the floor. One of them has already started to leave.

"I doubt I'd dislike this school as much as my previous ones." He muttered.

The female stopped mid-sentence, as three people came out of, well, more like forced out of, the training room. Getting a little too crowded in here for my taste. However, one of the students left almost immediately, and Kaien decided to wait a few minutes, to see if the other two followed suit.

He glanced up at the clock that was in the lounge. It's been four minutes. Only five left, good. He turned his attention back to the female.

Kizuna thought about his proposal for a moment. It would take time to summon Hasami, though she doubts she would do that now, again. Though they might not have sustained physical injuries from the battle earlier, they were already not at their full capacity. She herself was already exhausted but she can still move around perfectly.

Sudddenly, an idea came to mind.

"Hmmm... Not a bad idea", she thought out loud.

Ning

Startled by Kizuna's reaction, he jumps a little. Ning does not like surprises, especially in cases like this. But he was curious at the idea that she was mentioning in her speech.

Aoi was concerned with the students. As this school's nurse it was her duty to attend to the students needs. Seeing as the students were fine and uninjured, she glanced back at the boy she was talking to. She caught him watching the wall clock before he looked back at her.

"Is there somewhere that you have to go?", she asked. "You were glancing at the clock."

Ishikawa

When Makoto arrived in the lounge, it appeared that the few people in the room were already engaged in conversation. So much for getting to know fellow staff and future students. Oh well. I need a smoke anyway. He made his way back through the room, thinking about smoking out on the terrace.


Yukimura

"Not really. Just checking something." Kaien paused as another teacher came into the lounge, who seemed to be heading for the exit. "Though, if many more people come to the lounge, I'll be taking my leave." He decided to tack on "I'm not too fond of crowds."

Kizuna raised her eyebrow when the boy next to her moved as if he was surprised with her response. Wasn't it your idea to go back inside? was what she wanted say but she kept it to herself.

"What?"

Ning

"What's what? Can't you just speak what's in your mind? I know you are holding in something." Ning replied but regreted the next second because it sounds rude and he meant no harm, just that losing wasn't easy for him to take in, but he has no rights to vent his anger on her.

"My apologise about my rudeness"

"Hmmm...", Aoi mused. "Well, if you have something urgent to do, then I wouldn't be holding you back. If might be too late to be doing the introductions but I'm Aoi."

She held out her hand, ready to take a handshake.

Yukimura

"Pleasure to meet you Aoi. I'm Kaien Yukimura." Kaien was hesitant about taking her hand, as he was unaccustomed to contact with others. After standing still like a moron for a few seconds, he gently took her hand and shook it. He let go almost immediately.

"So, what were you saying before those people got thrown out of the room?" Kaien was trying to pry any information he could get out of her that might hint at whether or not she has abilities.

"Well", she started, raising her voice a little. "Wasn't it your idea to go back in?"

Kizuna, likewise, lost her temper. She didn't liked getting yelled at when she had answered him in the most appropriate way she could. She crossed her arms waiting for him to reply.

Ning

"Look, I'd already apologise about my rudness and yes its my idea to go back in.." Ning stops midway in his sentence, he realised that he was losing control over his temper and that is not a good sign.

"I'm really sorry, but I've no idea how to sneak back in, besides there is a chance us been boot out of the room again."

Aoi Ajisai

From a handshake, Aoi can tell a few bits of a person's traits. She was taught a bit of psychology when she was working with the military to know their state of mind. She saw that she hesitated to take her hand, and withdrew his almost as fast as when he held it. Certainly, he wasn't a shy person; she learned this through talking to him for a bit. Or maybe he was just uncomfortable with the gesture and she was thinking too much.

"What was it?" Aoi replied pretending to have forgotten about the conversation earlier.


Kizuna Sakagami

"Would you take that 50% chance of entering?" she asked.

Kizuna wasn't the type to gamble when she knew her chances were low. Nonetheless, she was curious on what his take on this would be.

Yukimura

Kaien sighed. If that's how she want's to play it, it's not worth it. "Nevermind, I suppose it's irrelevant." I'll find out sooner or later, anyway. Kaien glanced at the clock again. A wide grin formed on his face. Eleven minutes. Perfect.

He was still only a couple feet from Aoi, so he turned around and walked about twelve feet. He then turned back around and faced her. He closed his eyes and did the math in his head. I'll have to wait another hour and twenty-four minutes after this. Oh well. I'll head back to my room shortly, so there won't be any chance of needing to use it.

Without opening his eyes, he activated his ability. He immediately opened his eyes and walked back to where he was, only two feet from Aoi. Five seconds passed, and his ability stopped.

Ning

Relived that Kizuna don't seems to be that angry anymore, he lets out a breath that he had been keeping in.

With confidence, this was his answer. "50%? Even if its just 1% I would still fight it on, afterall, my life is just a huge gamble itself." he laughs.The cards has been set and now the decision is up to Kizuna.

Kizuna

Kizuna let out a sigh. She didn't understand his blind determination. What can you gain if it's not going to work?

"Don't blame me if this doesn't go as you planned", she replied agreeing reluctantly.
