Good episode, but... why the hell didn't Kiritsugu shoot Kayneth after using his Time Alter??? And not only once: first in the room where he ran away and then in the hallway where he started shooting AFTER he had yelled ''Kayneth!'' and had given his enemy the opportunity to defend. IDK, maybe I'm missing something here...

Time alter only has an impact on Kiritsugu himself and not his surroundings. It doesn't make Kayneth's automated defense any less perfect, so there was really no point in shooting.

That goes for him shouting Kayneth out loud before shooting as well. Since the defense is automated it doesn't matter if Kayneth is fully aware of the danger or not.

RAW because it's that EPIC but seriously the censors. Oh God why put them at the worst moments. I can understand the kid but the other elements being censored are totally wrong. Like lack of blood where there should be more.

The studio should release a version that is not censored by mistake but probably not.

Another great episode. Can't get enough of Rider and his antics. God that Caster is one evil bastard. Fields and fields more evil than F/SN Caster. I've come to accept that anything with Caster involved will be censored to some degree.

- You do NOT deny the King of Conquerors pants.
- Seeing the Caster scene just makes me want Saya no Uta animated even more. Sucks that it was censored pretty badly this time though, but I can live with it.
- Episode ended at one of the moments I've been waiting to see since the beginning dammit. Well, one more week it is.

Damn the censorship, I will have to watch the BDs once they're out. But it was a great episode regardless, and ever more astounding events are to ensue in the next episode... I can hardly wait, really.

This^^ there must have been some reason why he yelled out because most people wouldn't give there presence away but he was smiling after he pulled out his trusty gun so who knows?, besides that part was a pretty damn good episode can't wait till caster dies and lol@ iskandar.

another epic episode, this is definitely a 10 for me now.

so happy to have iskander part of this, he brings in comic relief.

whats up with the censors? bleh, guess i have to wait for the blu

so, the only way to heal saber's wound is if lancer dies?

Why is it that they ALWAYS have to yell out their names or something? They have the element of surprise and they completely ruin it with some stupid battlecry or calling out to the enemy.

Lol at morons still reserving posts in a thread. Cause being on the first page is totally important, mirite?

I would love to see the police try and tell Iskandar that he needs to put pants on. HE'S MOTHAFUCKIN RIDER!

A mot needs to made of Rider's "My package has arrived." Oh, where is my mind? XD

I loved Rider this episode.

As for Caster, I hate him more than any other anime character I've encountered. He's the most sickening, evil character I've come across. Urobuchi did one hell of a job writing for Caster.

The last fight was pretty interesting, but I felt like Kitsurugu was on the run the whole time. Hopefully this will change next episode.

Kayneth's defense is like Gaara's. Automatic Ultimate Defense.

I'm rather surpised to see Kiritsugu so distressed... I can see why he is afraid of Kotomine, but I didn't think Kiritsugu would be THAT distressed. Well, I guess his situtation could be compared to something like having a madman who you can't understand at all after you. Or maybe Kiritsugu is just a coward. His tactics can be viewed as pretty cowardly after all, though myself I prefer to think of them as smart.

Anyway, good episode. I'm loving the visuals and BGM in F/Z.

Yeah, seeing Kiritsugu so weak in front of Iri is a bit disturbing. Felt more melodramatic than anything.

Too fast man. This episode ended too quickly.

Pretty sad how Emiya speaks to Saber three times during the whole war -- and all three of those times were ... Command Spells lol. But he's so bad ass he's excused.

Can't wait for more.

Gae Daerg action next episode!

You can even tell Saber treats Iri's commands more respectfully than Kiritsugu's. And it's a little interesting the parallels between the relationship of Master/Servant between father and Son as both bersmirched Saber's honor by denying her the option to fight valiantly (Shirou's "she's a girl" excuse is actually revealed to be just an excuse in the VN as he constantly rationalizes why not to use Saber unlike the anime where you just head "you're a girl" over and over). Also, cute how Both Kiritsugu and Emiya are specialist magi with potentially body destructing Reality Marbles.

Good episode by the way. I'm loving the visuals and BGM in F/Z.
He's not a coward, more of an ally of justice who's had to kill his heart. In fact, the reason he seeks the Grail is because he doesn't like the realities of the world. Kiritsugu's ideals are exactly the same as Shirou's, down to the "save everyone" objective. He just grew up to learn that just wasn't realistic, unlike SHirou who still hanged on to that ideal.

And seriously, who wouldn't be afraid of Kotomine. He's a soulless man who can only derive pleasure from sin. He's basically the exact opposite of Emiya Shirou (Shirou is a soulless individual who can only find pleasure in helping others and Kotomine can only derive pleasure from inflicting pain on others).

1. Stop hating because of the censors. It had to happen.
2. Rider is funny... AS ALWAYS.
3. From a story I'm reading, Lancer (Diarmuid) is too gar compared to the actual guy in the story, but that's okay.

WTF WHY CAN'T TODAY BE NEXT SATURDAY?

Just finished doing some graphics and did you guys check out the tattoo in the spoiler
seeing it in one shot, must be the most insane tattoo ever in the whole series. Those markings are so complex. How powerful is it really compared to the command spells?
