I let my sister play Planetarian, and she thought it was really sad. I wanted to get her into the visual novel genre, but the whole fact that some of the best games have H scenes was kinda... idk, uncomfortable for me?

Anyway, there will always be more male fans of visual novels than girls, just due to the demographic the companies are aiming for. But it's utterly stupid to say girls can't or don't enjoy visual novels, because those that do... do!

As for yuri VNs... It's weird. In Japan, yuri seems to be more popular among girls than guys, but in the west... its the opposite. Maybe I'm wrong, but that's just what I've observed.

Also, totally offtopic: Grey is such a better spelling than gray.

well, there are is a lot of otome games that are produced in japan, and they are actually pretty good, but otome games that are translated by fans or get located by the companies are very few and hard to find.
