| This is definetely a another good ep in a string of them. I'm not very much of a Judau fan either, but the Gundam team is starting to get on my good side. The newtype stuff is getting a bit intense though. |

Oh and Judau is awight, not on the level of Char, Amuro or even Kamille, but it's still a good character (better than most ZZ's characters) |

I said it before and i say it now. This Newtype bullshit went too far in Zeta Gundam and in this too. At Amuro's level it was fine enough but now it has become a damn superpower, in a little hey won't even need Gundams to fly around and they will shoot beams from their eyes. . |
| Now it's finally starting to feel like I'm watching U.C. Gundam! I have to agree the uber newtype scenario is a little vexing, but I guess it does build Judau's character up a little more. It was nice to see Haman cowering with fear! And, to see Glemy finally get the shit end of the stick. I'm so sick of him always getting his way. I just wish Roux would merc his ass already, he's by far the worst character in this show. Leina's skill at dictating was impressive, I wonder if that foreshadows some thing in the future? And, here comes Hayato and Karaba! At such a perfect time, I was wondering when they would join the fight. Now that we're on Earth. Looks like this is finally starting to get on board with U.C., I just hope the only significance isn't Neo Zeon establishing itself on Earth. Seems like a waste for a 47 episode series to have that as it's only impact on U.C. universe. But, it seems more than likely, since I've heard/read that Char, Amuro, etc. aren't in this series at all. But I guess that's Gundam for you! Urahara Out!! |

| I really want Leina's pink dress. It's so beautiful~ Maybe I can make something like it. I thought this was the best episode yet as well! :) Since Mineva was there, I kept half-hoping Char would show up or something for some reason. :S Judau's reunion with his sister was touching. I didn't care about the brother-sister thing until now, but it feels like a major influence on Judau instead of just an entity on his character sheet. His dash to take care of Leina was the first time I was actually cheering him on. Judau's becoming at least an acceptable Gundam protagonist. Even so, he doesn't even touch Kamille. I just prefer the renegade (who isn't a dirty traitor like some people :\) who matures into a very capable pilot. (Please get better and find Fa, Kamille!) Judau's newtype abilities striking fear into Haman's heart amazed me and the imagery fit, but I dislike the amount of power he has. If newtypes continue to become increasingly crazy powerful, I wonder what the close of the UC will be like. Because, seriously, it's only been around 9 years since the newtypes started appearing (MSG was the first time, right?) In a strange way, it'd almost be like bad fighting shonen where the overall plot is "leveling up". If Tomino doesn't follow that root, I wonder what the workaround will be (i.e., taking the focus off improving the abilities of newtypes. Newtypes are a major plot element, so Gundam would have to dramatically change its focus to do so.)? |

| I agree with the others that this is the best episode so far. I kinda like how Leina has turned out, so perhaps her kidnapping wasn't so pointless in the end since it made her more strong. Haman was pretty (sometimes) in her new outfit, but I found it ironic that she ran away from his silly Newtype ghost when she did the same to him earlier on. Despite that, I also think the Newtype powers is getting, again, way over the top. It got up there with Kamille, but I was hoping Judau wouldn't end up the same way. Such a shame as it breaks the suspension of disbelief with its' silliness. I agree with another user above that Amuro's was a good balance and I wish they kept it like his level just with different variations. parfaited said: I'm even starting to miss Kamille at this point. You cray-cray. While I'm not fond of Judau either, he's more easier to watch than Kamille. He's actually an immature brat without being annoyingly so. Though, Judau meeting normal!Kamille might be interesting. |

| That was a real intense episode, I liked the battles here, all the urban warfare reminded me of 0080 and 08th ms team. I disagree about Judau newtype powers being too powerful, this was a unique situation that likely won't happen again. |
| Amazing episode!! It seems Leina is much more mature once she experienced both sides of the war. Unfortunately Puru is still the same :P Wow Judau emitting that aura! It reminded me of the same Aura Amuro saw when he killed that Zabi guy at the end of 079. So i guess since Haman is connected to Judau's state of mind, she started seeing those aura. Still i'm guessing the other Newtypes experienced it as well. I really thought Leina would have died on the spot, but it seems she's fighting hard to stay alive. I want to fucking kill that Glemy guy. I really hope he dies by the hands of Judau or Roux! Wow the battles were intense! I'm finally glad we're the same level as Zeta!! Even the tense Zeta music is there! And holy shit when they started playing the Zeta Death theme towards the end, i thought Judau was done for! And yeah i was expecting Char would appear here, but it seems he's resting somewhere. At least Hayato is providing support! I really hope Judau meets Char and Amuro and normal Kamille! Can't wait for the next episode! |
| Hmm... Judau took shot into his side and he is okay, but Leina is dying? At least Leina took some epic training by Glemy and is apparently good leader that can just bark orders when needed even if he is wounded and ia pain. |

| Really good episode once again. I don't mind the newtype stuff when it allows them to communicate telapathically or amp their battle prowess/reaction times, but being able to conjure auras and monsters and project gigantic images of yourself is too much in my opinion . Judaus aura was apparently so great even non new types notice it unless all those people who notice were new types which I doubt The end of ep took a dramatic turn for sure, judaus sister is probably losing blood fast and needs medical help but they just crash land on the sea. I saw an og original gundam previous white base crew member in the preview, I forget his name though been too long since I watched 0079 and zeta |

| After everything Amuro fought for, seeing the Federation leaders kissing Axis' ass is pretty disgusting. Am I the only one who felt this episode was similar to the one in Zeta where the Titans attack during Char's speech? Although it's unclear how much collateral damage Judau and crew caused in comparison to the Titans. |
| Those rotten Federation members who eat in Neo-Zeon hands were indeed disgusting. The big heads of the economy were here too but I suppose it is more acceptable for them to seek pure financial interests. This giant fighting spirit or kiai was surprising, it reminded me of Genma, Sôn and their "master" in Ranma 1/2. Looks like Judau isn't able to control his NT power despite being clearly the strongest one ever (sorry, Camille) like Haman's fright tends to indicate. I know it will be nothing more than a one-time feat like Camille's using his energy as beam power or summoning the deads but it was impressive, even more since it could have looked stupid if handled in another way. On the other hand, I can't really relate this power to communication/understanding like Camille's medium ability. Anyway, Amuro's evasion skill is still my favourite Newtype prowess (because it combines war experience and ESPer ability) Leina's authority despite her wound was a nice result of this stupid Glemy's training. I first thought she would die during the scene with Haman but I hope now that she will survive. Karaba strikes *_* I can't wait to see Hayato and Amuro again. Is Hayato aware of his son's death by the way? 4.5/5 Bad point: the Gundam team seems unconscious of the fact they're battling in the middle of a big city. (Ple was the only one I expected to act so recklessly) Glemy Toto is such an obsessive grunt full of himself because of what looks like a purely accidental promotion. May Roux Lucas allow him to die (painfully or stupidly) like the grunt he is. @Magenero It could help if humans weren't so fond of "weaponizing" every little discovery. |

| I feel like somehow Tomino really shot himself in the foot with the intorduction of the Newtype power: it's been taking more and more importance since 0079, but literally nothing about it has been explained or even explored, beside the vague idea of connecting and understanding each other through space and time. Now we're getting cybernewtypes (whom we know jackshit about aside from the fact that they're artificially created), Stands, Personas, Nen and Chakra and none of it makes sense. I'm not sure whether or not it's too late to start getting into the specifics of newtype powers now, but it honestly can't be worse than leaving us in the dark while bombarding us with stupid powerup after stupid powerup like the writers are doing right now. And even despite all of this, I can say without a doubt that it's probably the best episode so far, which goes to show how good it was. Seeing Haman run away was disturbing to say the least, but in a good way: taking a closer look at her personal fears helped give more nuance to her character, and aside from the ridiculous Newtype Stand thingy, her encounter with Aikido-kun was great. stand said: I feel the same way (about his bitching outfit I mean)Also have to say that Judau looks stylish in his blue suede shoes. He's alright but i'm not really fond of him. I'm even starting to miss Kamille at this point. He's been slowly growing on me during the Africa-centered episodes, but he's still so far away from Kamille or even Amuro in terms of how much I give a shit about him that I really can't say he's won me over yet. |

| Really loved this episode. Before this ZZ seemed to just be an average show, now it's shaping out to be just as good as Zeta. There's even more depth in the villains like how 0079 had, something Zeta unfortunately lacked. A bit too much of the space magic though. |

| @SakurasouBusters If you meant the "auras", it is the manifestation of Judau's fighting spirit (like we translate it in the West) "materialized" from psychic energy, allowed here by Judau's exceptional Newtype potential (remember the opening's evolutionary chain ;) ) and his emotions (making him able to harness it for a short moment). Haman is also a pretty "high-level" Newtype. From here on, if I remember it right, Judau's ability to exploit his unique ultimate "newtypeness" will only grow. Be ready. | Best episode by far! Quickly.. I am just blown away that nobody mentioned the Gundam Slap on Puru! It was like an added bonus to a tremendous episode. I found Judau's demon like aura super cool. What's wrong with going over the top and having it be like a giant demon? It's a show, so why not go there. Judau is really one of my favorite Gundam characters. |

| Finally Ple is wearing the outfit from the cover art on MAL. The way she was sitting - realistically childish, kids do that indeed. There were even turrets in Dakar! Remembered me of Star Wars tbh. Did anybody else notice Yazan present at the Neo-Zeon party? He was wearing a blue suit. Just a cameo though. Also the name of this double-episode looks kinda spoilerish to me, though it might be false impression. But I really think Leina is going to die and become the "holy sacrifice" of the show to boost Judau's character development (first and foremost, others will change too) That moment when everything turned red o_o Even Haman got scared! I didn't expect it from her, she was the one to use such a power back when she met Judau in the palace. I wasn't a big fan of Haman's look in this episode though. Her queen look is better. Or even the more casual one. Here she's like a canonical "woman from high society" with everything that comes with it like red pomade etc. Isn't it something used to depict a woman's power in media? If it is, then her being afraid of Judau's power feels even more ironic. And damn Leina really put all those hypocritical Earth federation politicians in place! Am I the only person liking her character from the beginning? She was/is a good sister and a nice person overall. I also liked Judau's talk with Elle in the beginning. The show is really on a winning streak for the past several episodes. It was also interesting to hear Haman's motivation. She cares about Earth and its pollution, so she "inherited" these Zeonist views from Char? And she seems pretty disappointed that such a powerful Newtype as Judau didn't join her. By the way, she seemed to regret wounding Leina even before the appearance of Judau's spirit. What's with that unstable behaviour? Was she going to kill them both or not? |

 The scene with the creepy hands felt like it came straight out of Rose of Versailles. Very nice. Rather bold of Haman and Glemy to try to spin the attack on the city favorably, but ofcourse the delusion was shattered once a mech fall onto the mansion grounds. Interesting how Haman Karn turned into a little girl when confronted by an angry Newtype aura, seems like her fierce demeanor is actually just her posturing/pretending to be fierce, rather than actually being one. |
